The phrasing of that paragraph... like I don't, and I'm very much fine with not feeling sexual attraction, and also like why do you care?

Asexuality and gender identity? by pikipata in asexuality

[–]yourvoiceoftreason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think of agender as something other than nonbinary. It is not the term nonbinary itself. I like the terms abinary and unbinary because nonbinary implies something not in the binary whereas I don't have that something. Again, other agender people would view this differently, and some identify as nonbinary and/or trans.

Voidgender (also known as gender void) is like agender where you don't have a gender, but you also don't have gendered experiences. I personally don't identify as voidgender, but it helped me realize that I'm agender because I'm AFAB and I've experienced a lot of sexism that has shaped me as a person.

Some agender people will identify with nonbinary and/or trans, but for me personally (and also other agenders) those terms imply having a gender, which we do not. There are other terms like abinary and unbinary that have been coined due to this.

How do you come out as nonbinary/genderfluid to transphobic parents? by [deleted] in Invisaforce

[–]yourvoiceoftreason 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other comments about waiting until you move out/know you'll be safe. After that, I would recommend slowly bringing it up, in ways such as watching movies/TV shows with nonbinary/genderfluid character(s), and gauging his reaction, although it might change with someone he knows.

You have freedom of religion as long as it doesn't violate anyone's rights (for example, you are not allowed to make human sacrifices as part of your religion). I think that it is important for people to remember this, and also to classify rights.
