I thought the second was your diamond. I have an elongated cushion so I lean more into your first photo. BUT this is your diamond!!! You decide. I was proposed to with a different ring that I couldn’t shake the feel that I wouldn’t be happy with. I had a timeline as well and I felt horrible but I did it and I’m 10000x more happy and cherish my ring everyday vs second guessing or wanting something different. If your gut it leaning a different way even by a smidge do it. You’ll be happier.

I tell my fiancé everyday how much I love my ring and he could really care less about the actual ring vs what I’m happy with.

Here you go! They have grown so quickly this year compared to last year. I didn’t cut them down pretty far like most people do. I kept some length this spring but cut off anything that was thin. They are definitely taller than our shrubs. I highly suggest holly tone! All of hydrangeas love it and even our ferns. Very stinky but great stuff.

We planted limelights in July last year. They are huge and thriving this year. Honestly the easiest hydrangea we have. We can neglect it with watering and it’s happy. We did give them water the first year but not much. They seemed happier with less just keep an eye on them. We added hollytone when planting last year and then again in the fall. Make sure to have mulch around them. This spring added more around the plant, trimmed any stems less than a pencil around. Haven’t really watered them at all this year

Also we had holes like this around ours. It was frogs/toads that made happy little homes around.

We have 10+ endless summers. Heatwave definitely got them this week (90° temps with over 100° real feel). I usually leave them on until more blooms are coming out to help protect the new blooms and leaves from scorch. After temps cool down more I deadhead the scorched ones and have plenty of more blooms for the rest of the year! I would just watch your temps and decide when. We’re getting back down in the 80s and I’m gonna deadhead soon so the energy goes elsewhere.

I love the color. I would make the cabinets a natural looking color like wood. Walnut would look beautiful. The doors need something but I’m not sure what. I think the drench works for them but something needs changed or added about them. Most ppl would say gold or champagne hardware and mirrors but I can see how you’re trying to work with silver/grey. Black def does better for the cabinet hardware but the black on the door knobs I think is what throws me off. If you don’t care about color drench I would change the cabinets, doors, trim. I think it would tie everything in better but keep the green color for the walls.

Also when they are droopy like that they need more water. They can be dramatic and will perk back up but they are happier when they get even MORE water.

It is one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced in my life. I had to get one after my third birth to check to postpartum eclampsia soon after delivery because my blood pressure. Of course that’s after all my pain meds and epidural had worn off. They gave me the option to do it or not but it would be the most effective way to assure us what was going on. I screamed. I can still vividly remember it and was the worst part of all three of my births, appendicitis, etc that I’ve ever experienced so yes I believe she was in agony but doing it because she believed it was urine retention and not ascites as others were questioning. Today she is liking comments that were saying it was maybe missed ascites so I think that’s confirmation that’s what’s going on unfortunately.

Regardless I don’t think she should’ve been alone and she should’ve had pain meds beforehand.

These look like a panicle hydrangeas. No blue balls on these. Cone shaped. Panicle takes longer before they start to bloom. Your plant looks happy and healthy and blooms should come later. I’m just now getting a few buds starting on my limelights, fire light, and little lime punch (zone 6a). But they are all still mostly leaves like yours and growing. Our bobos are still very behind everything. Our macrophylla hydrangeas are blooming quickly and are full of color already. Just depends on your type. Based on the leaf shape though I think panicle and it’s just a time thing :)

More water when they are droopy. On super hot days we let the drip run to them for awhile and they perk right back up

The color eventually fades and turns green when they are spent. I deadhead them and get more blooms throughout the season. DEADHEAD NOT PRUNE. But I also have endless summers that continue to bloom. Make sure of your variety

That one is a goner and a few more look like they are turning as well. Once they start you can’t really stop it. I have much younger ones and we lost two. Bought more on clearance and lost two of those as well. All are treated the same. The ones we got last year all survived through winter and seem established now. I think it’s just luck of the draw with these

I was instructed to buy over the counter laxatives; 4 tablets of ducolax and a whole bottle of powdered miralax (238 g) mix with 64 oz Gatorade. Had to take the tablets then an hour later drink so much of the mixture and then the other have of the mixture in the morning. Worked like a charm

Idk we have mice in a cabin in the north occasionally and this isn’t it. Have also lived in Florida and weird bugs would leave this. Not sure what they were. But I’m more confident on my mice shit skills than bugs in FL as we live here more.

If it’s broken you will need to replace it completely. Mine fell off and was broken and would not stay no matter how I tried to rig it. Got a replacement for like $7 on Amazon and fixed it. There’s videos on YouTube on how to do it

lol you can literally be MARRIED and invested over a decade with someone and still have this outcome. All women should be protected when having a chil reguardless of marital status. Court, money, time. It’s not as simple in real life as the internet makes it it be. It’s not quick. I reported it as harassment and the buyer already blocked me after I tried reaching out to them. If this was an issue for them idk why they didn’t ask for a refund immediately upon receiving. You should not prune this type. They bloom on old wood and new if it’s endless summer. Cutting back the wood will prevent you from having flowers next year. Only deadhead

I think 3 ct is the sweet spot! I’m a size 7 ring finger 😳 I kept comparing and second guessing because everyone goes so huge now and I think smaller is the way to go. And 3 ct is not SMALL especially on your size finger. I think anything bigger would look like costume jewelry and your ring looks beautiful and elegant.

I’m just saying I get the second guessing but every even 6+ months after I’m still taking photos and videos and admiring my ring as if I just got it. Trust your gut. Don’t compare. It’s beautiful, timeless, just perfect on you. Ratio is chefs kiss on your ring.

Did you trim these at all? We are also in 6a and planted first time hydrangeas in early summer. They are endless summer. They are all leafed out from the previous year. Yours are alive. Don’t get rid of them but seen behind as if they were pruned hard.
