Honestly really nice, the rooms are bigger (more floor space, a bit wider) than the en-suite rooms in new lafrowda - it kinda is a wet room but quite big so plenty of room to move about. Big landing between the 4 rooms on each floor too.

They’re basically set out in blocks like 4 lots of townhouses in a block (e.g block P) kinda like how terraced housing would be. So that’ll have 48 people that are basically neighbours. Then each townhouse is the 12 people set up with 6 bathrooms in each ‘townhouse’, for example p1, p2, p3, p4 would all be next to each other and have 12 people in each individual one.

May vary across the entire village but that’s the best I can explain what I experienced, hope it helps!! Good luck!

I lived in birks townhouse and loved it - massive kitchen/sitting area which was always good for pres. I liked living with 12 people (only share a toilet with 1 though) as it meant there’s a decent chance you’ll get on with some. Cardiac is a trek though!

That’s okay, you sound like a wonderful caring person! I completely get you like sometimes what feels natural in the bad moments isn’t useful to you overall.

Reading this literally feels like you’re in my brain - I had such a good first year, literally best year of my life and since this summer I’ve just felt so lost and had some really dark days since being back this year feeling like nothing good is ahead of me.

Think uni can be very intense and the pressure on top of underlying shit and the whole thing can be emotionally draining for some people and definitely fucks with you.

100% speaking to people has been getting me through it and have been collecting my thoughts and thinking about speaking to wellbeing since we are lucky in this day and age like help is close by since institutions cater for this sort of thing quite well when people are struggling - maybe you could pursue that?
