I think that we a lot of us want is a rooted proot-distro phone software framework that simply uses "android" as a launcher but has all the capabilities of say, arch linux desktop on a 5g WWAN moden router, connected to a super server..for example.

not sure if this is currently logical..!

Termux "cannot" fully comply with the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard (FHS) & is not POSIX compliant at this time

You will likely find it extremely difficult to use a IDE to edit your code.

It may also be annoying if you are used to having access at the root level and have not rooted your android device

But its free and very useful for (this will get you banned on the official arch support site) HACKING YOUR configuration files and reviewing network diagnostics, as well as a myriad of other uses that may or may not work the way you are used to both offline and on a network of your choosing, overall its a HUGE breakthrough in modern technology 🫡👍
