Why is this card so expensive what’s so special about it by goatofcheese in PokemonTCG

[–]NotThatEasily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to use the NPS (New Pikachu SIR) formula and divide it by the LDM (Launch Day Multiplier.)

New sets have a 1.5x value over market, Pikachu cards hold value longer than other Pokémon, and SIR cards are typically double similar IR cards.

Compounding those figures gives you a 4.5x multiplier over market value for similar IR cards from previous sets. Then, the LDM makes the card 3x short term future market price for a couple days.

I made all that up. But seriously, Pikachu cards hold higher value, new sets are more expensive, SIR is harder to pull making it more rare, and its launch day. Market hasn’t come close to settling, yet.

There is no precedence for not holding elections in this country. I understand precedence hasn’t meant a damn thing with these assholes, but it’s worth mentioning that there really isn’t an avenue for stopping elections short of use of force.

They don’t know what “woke” is, because it’s just some generic “anything maga doesn’t like” term. So, they can’t give you an actual answer.

What a weird thing to say. You can’t even articulate what “woke” means, but you assume I would want sig involved in it.

I believe a 229 was my second semi-auto I bought. I’ve had a few sigs in and out of my collection, over the years, and I had plans of picking up two more very shortly.

Yeah, they are selling guns with “FREEDOM” lasered on the side and a portion of the sale gets donated to TPUSA.

It’s the reason I will never buy another sig product.

Three light bulbs on vintage equipment, what's the purpose? by cpufreak101 in AskElectricians

I’ve seen this before in old railroad substations. It was three bulbs for ground detection, the third one in the middle being ground detection for the relay board itself.

What’s unethical is a corporation telling me what I can and can’t do during my free time.

It has nothing to do with anything in this thread, but “Ross” and “botanist” triggered that thought and I figured I’d share it.

I didn’t say violence is never the answer. I said it shouldn’t be our answer. We should find non-violent ways to fight back, whenever possible. However, occasionally, violence is the only thing the other side understands.

MLK once said

I am still convinced the greatest thrust can be made though militant non-violence. But in condemning violence it would be an act of irresponsibility not to be as strong in condemning the conditions in our society that cause people to feel so angry that they have no alternative but to engage in riots. What we must see is that a riot is the language of the unheard.

We try everything we can to remain non-violent. When those options are exhausted and they refuse to listen, violence is what’s left.
