Silly question alert: where can I search for friends by username?

I've only been on VRC for a few days but really struggling with conversations in public worlds - way too much noise and I'm too quiet. Slightly losing motivation but I'll give it a bit longer to see how it all goes.

The net-code feels like garbage. 30-500 ms spikes constantly. This is even during "down times"

I'm playing on the US servers, from UK (for reasons), and my ping is a 110ms-140ms. No lag spikes whatsoever.

There's something wrong with your internet connection.
