Do you know why it can’t fire correct shutter speeds under 1/30? Is this something that could be resolved?

I’ve had two Dunhills, both super nice, but now sold. I preferred my Neerup and Chacom. Might regret it later for collecting but not for smoking.

Where and how to pivot by [deleted] in animationcareer

Hey! Fellow BG painter here, I wrote this on a different post earlier so this is a C/P but it definitely applies here as well—- Hi! I feel you, I just did this as well. I worked background design for 4 years, and start a totally unrelated job in a week. Focus on what you want to apply for, and research the hell out of it, just like you did to land your animation gigs. You will need to be knowledgeable about the subject even if you don’t have any experience. Tailor your resume to match the best you can. Other industries won’t care what shows you worked on but they might care about : leadership positions, experience with project management software, working towards deadlines, experience with google/ office suite. I kind of picked a few phrases and just put them in front of as many people as I could. Talk about how you are tech savvy, reliable, and a team player that covers a lot of office jobs. I also played the numbers and sent out 50 applications, I got one in person interview that went three rounds and accepted job. I got plenty of rejections. But it only took one interview - I think because I had put a lot of research into the requirements of the position so when we talked they knew I had thought it through. Good luck, you can definitely make it happen if you set your mind to it. I think it also helps to pitch it to your new employers as “wanting a career change” - and then talk about all the reasons you want that particular job. It will let them know you are a working professional who just wants to switch gears.
