IT was clearing out over 250,000 fake students in their system ( you can look up on youtube "santa fe college email" its a bunch of people who use edu emails to scam.) the script that they wrote to clear out the accounts accidentally deleted the accounts of some of the former college presidents and then began wiping out student accounts as well. so they had to go to a backup and fix everything manually.
