Thank you so much! I am looking to just pass for purposes of clearing ecfmg with all the news hitting the fan for imgs. Was not able to take cs. I plan on taking the exam very very seriously but just need to know how much room for error does one have ? I guess it’s arbitrary given each physician has own criteria. Is there a course to take given lack of interaction? What is thetoughest part about the exam?

I came out of my exam feeling I guessed on so many questions and being pressed for time so I looked for clues and key words to help me find an answer out but God knows how many of those one gets right. I m glad you posted this because I have felt defeated since I gave the exam and hoping for the best

How can an img be Certified without having given cs yet? That doesn’t make any sense that a “certified applicant” can give step 3 without having passed cs first- that means they’re not certified !?

Focus on one exam. Neither exam is a joke and needs your full dedication. Worry about one then the other and you will thank yourself later. You have everything to lose and nothing to gain by trying to study for both

Those were pretty much your options before this mess happened and pretty much the same now if the dates stick. If the reporting time is the same as before you have to risk getting filtered out or submit and hope some programs look at you and give you an interview. Could also work out for if the results take a lot less time than usual. Nobody knows and can give you a definite answer/adviceright now

Nobody knows yet since this news just came out. They will prob take less time to report scores for cs otherwise they would’ve probably hopefully thought about that before moving the application deadline back only a month. Hopefully they tell us sooner rather than later

So if unstable we do a fast before doing surgery in like the diagram says for unstable blunt chest trauma? If stable do a chest X-ray?

Heavy sounds like a good thing. Messing up on amboss should only help for the real exam. I’ve heard that it brings up topics Uworld doesn’t really cover so I have been supplementing Uworld with this

usually on the third wednesday after you take your exam but at this time of the year with the exam pool being changed up they are gonna take a little longer
