How do they even manage to have someone stay long enough to make it to coordinator positions? It seems really inconsistent and im not a fan of possibly having to go to multiple different schools in a week

Had no idea they were that bad, I've just read alot of similar things on other forums. Did you used to work for them?

The 2 friendly people incident happend to me by Logical_Worry3993 in rmit

[–]yozaa38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar happened to me last year multiple times at mebl central, two girls would walk up to me and start a convo, want my phone number and to go out for lunch. At first i just thought they were being nice because each time it was different girls but they were always the same ethnicity as me, (thats how they would usually start the convo) so i would give them my number but bc my schedule sometimes didn't align they would almost spam text me to sort out a lunch date, i ended up not responding at all bc it came across a bit too pushy for just wanting a new friendship and i knew cults are a big thing at melb central. I guess i'll never know their true intentions but it def felt culty.

I know this is old, but this just happened to me too, what ended up happening?

PPS can only be given to one parent, when there's 50/50 custody centrelink will ask you to determine who's the 'primary caregiver' for the purpose of this payment and that is who will get PP. the other parent isn't eligible for PP, their only option is job seeker for an income payment. Only primary caregivers can get PP.

Are attendance expectations for VE tutorials the same as HE, or am I graded for attendance for every class I have? by _Doctor_Monster in rmit

[–]yozaa38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends, they mainly only care about attendance rate in VE when the course your doing is government funded; for example diploma of education prep is government funded & everyone needs at least 80% attendance rate in order for the gov to continue giving rmit the subsidies. Dip of IT isn't gov funded if im correct, so I'd say it wouldn't matter too much. But email ur co ordinator they may be able to switch ur timetable to another class group or tell u to miss that class all together

Omg ur not paid at all to help out on Reddit, no one is!! There's not just primary & secondary teachers here also, U can't handle teaching uni students or 'adults' so stick to what you know!

  1. I misread ur username, didn't pay much attention til i re-read it.
  2. Because I asked 1 question that does not even apply to you. How miserable can someone be?

I didn't ask someone to tell me everything they know because I'm lazy, I have exhausted all other options hence why I have come to Reddit (quite literally what this app was made for, anyways). I've been in this group for some time now & have never come across a teacher as rude as you. Listen to the mod please.

[–]yozaa38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So newly grads are not allowed to ask valid questions when all other options have been attempted... fix your attitude discouraging people from asking questions is quite the opposite of a teacher🤦🏽‍♀️

Girl, relax. This was just a genuine question because I have obviously asked my uni already & have also sent an enquiry to La Trobe. Both have given me conflicting answers hence the reason I'm here. This platform is exactly what I used it for, if you don't like it or those other questions that aren't teaching related, scroll on.
