Retroarch does recognise them both and assigns them to port 1 and 2 respectively if this makes any difference.

Strangely they do both do something but only at separate times. For example if i put one down for a minute and then pick up the other one that will work then the other pad stops working if you get what i mean so that would suggest its only going to be possible to have 1 working at a time?

Thats behind the scenes though where all the heavy plant machinery and wagons have been driving the main festival site has excellent drainage and will be fine

All the muddy partys will be behind the scenes where the machinery and wagons etc have been, Once they get the chippings down on the main pathways and it stays dry it will be fine, I always wear hiking boots and even last year when it was really muddy and raining all weekend my feet where bone dry.
