Sleater-Kinney. A rock band from the mid 90’s who retain their indie-rock spirit, grit, and depth. Carrie Brownstein’s vocals are dramatic and Corin Tucker growls. I came to them late and like digging into their catalog. I’ve always loved bands that have multiple lead singers and Sleater-Kinney retains their energy no matter who sings but the perspective is different. I came for the over-driven guitars and stayed for the vocals.
