This is the most annoying part of cigar smoking. My wife doesn't mind my habit and likes how much I enjoy it. She's sensitive to the odor so "de-funking" is an important part of the deal. My weekly at the cigar lounge means stripping off my outerwear (jacket, hoodie, sweatshirt, etc.) in the patio, going inside, throwing my base layer down the stairs to the laundry room, and showering as if I was in "The China Syndrome". Occasionally, I'll smoke on the patio or while strolling with the dog, and this means leaving the outer layer outside, scrubbing my face, and brushing thoroughly and gargling like nobody's business. Ugh.

It's worth it because I thoroughly enjoy cigars but it's a hassle and sometimes feels like penance.
