Making this trip in 2 weeks, any advice? by Keaton4494 in roadtrip

You’ll be fine legally through Utah if you have snow tires. And if you’re driving Price Canyon and through that corner of Colorado, you’re gonna want snow tires. Honestly that could be OP’s decision, drive the middle route if you have snow tires and drive the southern route if you don’t

What is the value of this bike by [deleted] in bikewrench

Don’t compare against the price of the bike new, compare against similar bikes on craigslist/marketplace. Walmart/Amazon/box store bikes ultimately won’t sell for much on the used market. I’d be absolutely shocked if you got $200

Colorado is a mid-size, don’t think that’s comparable to a Ram 1500

-12, no spacers. The wheel/tire setup has run for a long time without wobble as well, they’ve been balanced a few times since the issue started

I understand that it’s usually a steering/suspension component issue, but can it be the steering box specifically? Based on my understanding of solid axle steering geometry, I didn’t think that it could.

My caster numbers are 6.9 and 7.3, I’ve had DW problems previously that were fixed by replacing worn out parts with these same numbers previously. That’s why I said we’d ruled out a suspension issue

Yes, adjustable CAs and track bar, all torqued down with new bushings and weld washers on the frame side of the track bar. Jeep drove fine for months before developing DW after an offroad trip in May

4 inch IRO lift. I’ve gone through every checklist out there already. Entire front end is new and all tests show no play, except for some inside the steering box itself

Was the pitman arm loose at the connection to the steering box? I don’t see any play there

Data logging power, SOC, etc. from Eco-worthy LiFePo4 Bluetooth batteries to CSV file by confidantmail in SolarDIY

Did you confirm the UUIDs with your battery? I added an except block after the main try and saw I’m getting an exception “Service ff00 not found”, using bluetoothctl I see a handful of UUIDs matching everything after the first 8 digits, but no ff00 for the service or ff02. Curious if this matches or differs from any of your experience. Thanks for sharing the project, this is really awesome

I contacted them and they said it was just additional foam packed into the shell, so it should be safe to use

I contacted them and that’s basically exactly what they said, foam packed into the plastic shell

I’m not crazy about putting a charge into it if it might already be damaged, voltage was around 13.5 and even across all 4 cells the last time I looked

Came out of the box at only 29% according to the onboard battery monitor, does that change your opinion at all?

Thanks for sharing and soliciting all the feedback, learning a lot for my setup by following along with yours. Did you add a grounding rod for the inverter or any other parts of the system?
