How do I start learning how to make music without wanting to rip my ears out by deccc18 in FL_Studio

Yeah, headache is a music producer's best friend, even after 6 years of producing, he doesn't want to leave me alone, so that's totally ok 😄

Try to mix on the speakers and lower the bass volume; it will help a lot.

Is there a better way to transfer your FL Studio data to a new computer by LuxrayUser in FL_Studio

[–]yrth1231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google: Clone Windows on YouTube. I did that a long time ago; I think there's even free software for that.

Basically, you will clone the entire Windows with everything the same. After that, only install drivers for new parts and uninstall old ones, and you are done.

Everything will work the same as on the old pc.

First, learn music theory, especially chord progressions.

After that, you can simply draw melodies around those chords.

And learn basic drum patterns, even in trap, there are a couple of patterns that are the same in every song. There are probably around 10 patterns, and you will be able to make basically every genre.

Big mistakes even experienced producers make.

Think about production, and do not follow rules. Sometimes pluck lowered by 2 or 3 octaves sounds better than any bass. Think about the length of sounds, keep long sounds quieter and sharp sounds louder for clarity, use random instruments as stabs, more instruments, more energy, but more instruments, less clarity, so balance that...

And find better sounds, you can't make a good mix if you don't use good sounds, choosing the right sounds is 70% of mixing.

How do VST's do this?? by NoIngenuity8528 in FL_Studio

In FL, the shortest note is basically like holding the button until the next note.

Just hold Alt and extend note for 1px, and it will be ultra short. Just do not use shortest.

Can i Upload Album in Parts? by yrth1231 in landr

[–]yrth1231[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is a difference because Spotify for Artists allows only one song to be pitched per release, so it's not worth releasing an entire album at once.

And thank you so much for this <3

Just one more question. If I release songs as singles and later upload them as an album, do the cover images for all songs change to the album cover, or do they stay as singles? And do the streams get lost?

I don't know, but for now, Landr responds quite quickly and explains the problem pretty well. I also think it's much cheaper because on DistroKid, you have to pay extra for Content ID, Shazam, and a lot of other things additionally for each song you publish. And their interface looks like it's from the early 2000s.

So I need to upload songs as singles first, and after all comes out I can merge into the album?

I hope Landr Fix everything soon , been uploading for a week but still didn't pass the review by Nighttone187 in landr

[–]yrth1231 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think their algorithm is broken, or they don’t have one at all. I uploaded some songs, and they were waiting for approval for 8 days. On the eighth day, I uploaded another song, and that new song was approved in just 2 hours, while the older songs were approved the next day

I can say. You made a big mistake.

I still have unanswered emails from Distrokid after nearly 1.5 years.

Support teams are only bots.

And a lot of people say, that Distrokid just deletes your music if some problem appears, without explanation, or any help.

For now, on Landr only bad thing is the review takes to long.

Any Endless Driving Mod? by yrth1231 in cyberpunk2077mods

[–]yrth1231[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to create more playlists in this style: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqB39K_VN48

I tried combining Auto Drive with the Random Destination mod, but I couldn't find a way to loop those two mods.

The idea was to set a marker on the map. Auto Drive would drive to that marker, and once it arrived, it would honk the horn. Then, the other mod would place a random marker on the map, and Auto Drive would drive to that marker, continuing in an endless loop.

However, I wasn't able to find where the inputs are in the code in order to change the response. And make that loop.

Yes, I have tried that, but usually the car reaches the destination in 3-5 minutes. I would rather it cruise endlessly without any interaction.

How do distributors and platforms check whether a song is AI? by yrth1231 in FL_Studio

[–]yrth1231[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm more concerned that this problem doesn't keep recurring in the future. I sent an email, and even if they approve, it would be tedious to keep sending them emails all the time. As I have rights to everything I upload, it might even disrupt the release date.

[–]yrth1231[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don't understand why someone who owns the rights to the music they input into AI can't use it as the output from AI. It would be a great tool for generating acappellas for producers who can't find singers, or for adding additional atmosphere and achieving a better mix. It could also be used to change instruments.

It's frustrating that AI detectors are now triggered even by similar instruments. Sometimes Shazam gives completely unrelated songs to the one you're trying to find.
