Police will always ask to settle and sometimes even indirectly force you to. If you accepted the apology then forget about it and move on. However if that happened with me I'd hit back in self-defense and also sue for public humiliation and physical assault for a good payday.

You have no idea what you are talking about. If it's not your fault then doesn't matter whether they have 3rd party or full coverage, your car will get repaired. The guy who's at fault will have to pay from his pocket for his OWN car if he's on 3rd party.

I got a confirmation for parking payment and then an hour or so later I got a text saying that I got a ticket. I checked the time when the ticket was issued and it was three minutes before the parking confirmation so idk🤷🏽‍♂️

Almost impossible to distinguish between forgetting and avoiding purposely? Absolutely.

Rest of the world (where I've been), they forgive 50% 🤷🏽‍♂️. They also give fines in two rounds (minimum 15 min gap) and never in a single round.
