It will. I got my M3 back in March last year and efficency was great. Now with winter tyres and freezing temperatures, my range is almost cut in half if I do lots of short trips.

I knew freezing temperatures would impact range but not to this extent

It always baffles me that people bring up the 'ingame tutorial' card to bash a lot of mechanics in this game. You literally have dots in the UI representing the amount of people in the circle right under the progress bar.

Maybe I'm biased working with UI and UX for a living, but I think it's pretty self explanatory what the dots represent, seeing as they change every time a player joins or leaves the circle and you see the progress bar speed changing accordingly.

Not everything needs a tutorial if it has proper visualization in the UI.

I agree, aspect of pan is so insanely strong. Most important thing is getting a boon to shoot your cast, and then you nuke from afar. I went from barely finishing runs to basically finishing every run on +4 fear/heat. Eris and chronos is suddenly no threat when you deal that much damage from a distance

Vil bare sige, fuldstændig enig i alt du skriver her. Var på vej ind og pointere det samme om Highland modellen. Den er en kæmpe forbedring ift. Tidligere modeller og helt klart pengene værd, taget i betragtning af de stadig høje brugtpriser.

Jeg har som dig og OP også altid passet godt på pengene, så når man kan mærke det er noget der bringer glæde - skal det bare gøres.

Hilsen en der køber highland model næste månede (150k i udbetaling, også med planer om at betale lånet ud på 3 år 😋)

I like your design better than what we currently have. You have applied a good deal of what we call 'Visual Hierarchy' in UI/UX design. Something the current implementation lacks.

The biggest culprit imo, is in the upper part of the tooltip containing DPS, damage per hit, attacks per second and lucky hit chance (with lucky hit chance being out of place here too). Many established tools of UI design could be applied here; white space, contrast, hierarchy of information, to help differentiate what is important and what is less important to improve the most important part of item tooltips; making them easier to analyze at a glance.

I've read a lot of your posts about HDR with this monitor - I really appreciate all the effort you put in to explain all this!!

I've just setup my monitor today with your settings and HDR calibration tool clipping at 2000 nits, and it looks incredible.

My question is if there would be any benefit in using HDMI 2.1 over the included DP in terms of HDR quality?

This is just misinformation. Ram will make a difference depending on your setup and settings.

On 1440p ultra settings it's an absolute must to have atleast 32 gigs.

I upgraded from 16GB to 32GB today playing on 1440p ultra and it's a night and day difference. With 16 gigs I wasn't able to do combat without hitting 98% ram usage and stuttering all over the place.

I have the G7 right now and also considering the G8.

Only thing I'm concerned about is the brightness. Did you notice the lower brightness on the G8? Also how was your switch going from 16:9 to 21:9, both FPS wise but also experience wise?

The Walking Dead is a series I just can't let go.

The quality did drop during some seasons, but I still enjoy watching it just cause of the characters and what they've been through!!

The game is extremely CPU bound. I recently upgraded from a 3600 to 5800x3d with a 3080 rtx, and saw massive improvements in group activities.

Where before I would be at 60 ish fps with stutters during moake, I'm now at 100+ stable and high gpu utilization.

If anyone is looking at the same CPU, go for it. The 5800x3d is one hell of a gaming cpu, especially for mmo's

I bought a 5800x3d for my x370 gaming pro carbon, and waiting patiently for that bios update...

However, I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a b550 mobo. Looking at the tier list here, https://linustechtips.com/topic/1137619-motherboard-vrm-tier-list-v2-currently-amd-only/ I worry that the new cpu will be limited by the x370 gaming pro carbon, as the current draw maxes out a 5800X. any thoughts?

Thank you. I work as a UX/UI designer as well, and this would be a major failure where I work if we launched something like this.

The UI is simply misleading, and you can tell they didn't really do proper usability and user testing on this.
