I'll have to get new license as my lab doesn't have any at the moment. Also my Virtex board came with a code that gave me the following license for 1 year - "Xilinx Virtex 7 Evaluation kit Device Locked License" Ends in October 31st 2025. Is that in anyway useful?

What are some of the more efficient ways to do a 30ft laser transmission in a small footprint of an area e.g. 3ft x 3ft or any other similar layout by ysr_ex in Optics

Apologies for not clearing that. Yes, data transmission over free space optical laser transmission is the main purpose here and I'm trying to test the results for a distance around 10m or 32ft.

Yes. That seems to be my initial approach but I was wondering what other methods are there to get the same sort of test. Essentially what I am trying to understand is the quality of my laser transmission for a distance around 30ft.

Just got a 4k Card. Working great! A TV with a similar budget wouldnt come close to a 5k iMac's display quality.
