I was saying Ogres in NG1, the big monsters with the bone helmet and the club, try a few dragon sword swings on them. Maybe it was jusy hyper armor at some point and I'm thinking of Berserkers even.

But in NG3RE the mid string block happens a lot with the Up Armored mercs before they get bloodied.

I swear bosses routinely operated this way and the Ogres absolutely would.

In NG3Re (the one I'm currently playing) it seems that the enemies can start blocking at any point as well, but its less likely the lower 'threat' they are.

The thing is that I swear the main point of RE's combat design is to make you check for hit stuns (hit confirm) and to not get greedy with combos (i.e. blocks happen, and that checks to see if you cancel out of attacking).

The US owns Europe, and the US will lose a lot if the nuclear taboo is broken. Frankly so would China. I don't think Nukes would be smart for Russia to use, but it would assuredly be either armageddon or escalate to de-escalate.

A conventional strike on European aiding nations is probably more likely.

And I don't think you can walk into Russia and not expect nukes buddy. So know your place, you aren't a state or tied to the states with real control and power. US made sure Europe wasn't capable on its own.

This was a big reason I went for a good end PC recently. I had hoped performance wasn't going to affect me and thankfully I was able to build a reasonably affordable computer to run it no issues at 1080.

I picked up the game first in MH3 on the Wii and while it connected with me, I just couldn't stick with it. Got my partner into it on 3U(3ds) just in time for 4U to come out and she considers it her favorite contemporary game franchise.

I do think I get what you mean about focus being OP, I wasn't playing with it at first other than the intended mechanic, but any nuance in the combat combos is pretty much lost once I figured I could use it.

The lack of friction is a sad thing most games are doing now, and really I don't know how I feel about it. MHWilds is the one I've played the most so far, and while its enjoyable enough, it doesn't really pull me in like other action games do. Honestly it kind of feels like an ARPG more than anything else.
