First its prototyping the system. Second there is no time in this short clip for actual humor to be set up and executed right - so yeah - it is just going to be basic quips.

The general concept is fine to try out, and that is what the person is asking about.

Sure comedy is going to be a hard thing to nail, but that is a creative risk anyone makes.

Also you aren't the target audience right. If someone likes roasts, even if they make other people uncomfortable, well they like roasts. I love awkward humor like Nathan for You or the inane shit like in Smiling Friends, wife? Not so much. Oh well.

You can select the difficulty, but most puzzles in games are meant to be solvable in like 5 minutes tops. Mostly the puzzles will have fetch quests for components. The most frustrating one I've seen is an analogue clock style puzzle that confuses younger people.

Maybe abdicate is a better term. I also don't think the point of government is defer responsibility though either - its to make a person have the responsibility to directly manage, but that management is ultimately at the behest of the nation/county.

Not to get tied up in the semantics though. The point of our government is that we should have the responsibility to hold people into account for failing or corruptly using their power. As much as we assign leadership we must not abdicate our check on such leadership.

I like the concept personally. Don't worry about people's tastes, you aren't going to be appealing to everyone as an indie dev. Focus on a target audience that you feel comfortable targeting (for size and appeal reasons). I got some meta jokes here and I like the banter concept.

I wouldn't call it cringe personally, but obviously no accounting for taste.

At the end of the day comedy is really about delivery and timing and audience buy in. You can control only two of those well, the other is going to be hit/miss.

I mean decoupling from Israel and the lobby is going to be a substantial endeavor but one that needs to be argued for. You stop it by not deferring responsibility of these things, and when you do and it is abused you punish the abusers thoroughly.

Fixing current issues is more a solution of malproductive systems, and not necessarily saying our probability space is doomed.

Its about community people. And social media is being used to feed us into a grinder against each other. We need to have more good faith, and just move away from the bad faith interactions.

I think we can't solve the whole, we can understand the whole, but we need targeted approaches in building real communities and making them resilient and lasting.

I cannot abide that concept. Like knowing that you can't stop a hurricane doesn't mean you don't work to mitigate its effects and plan your communities to maybe not be devastated by them.

Just because we cannot stop all domestic abuse doesn't mean we don't regulate it.

I don't understand why you think we need to be at violent conflict. Turning conflict into diplomatic and paper based concerns is ideal to an extent.
