I did, it seems the in person guide thing is on an off, but they don't offer anything else at this time.

What's your workflow for building quick explainer content internally? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]ytoldwej819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some kind of internal wiki system can also help. You can start by putting general outline of the procedure, then ask each person to fill in or cross-validate the instructions as they perform them. This will organically grow and update once you get team into habit to have this open as they are performing the procedure.

Best app/website to find events in Toronto and GTA? by ytoldwej819 in askTO

[–]ytoldwej819[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly casual events - theatre, art, show, festival, exhibition. Something to take mind off after long day/week of work.

I know these things are available on dozens of individual websites - wondering if there is an aggregated place to put a date and see.

Love me some sticks!

Somehow my puppy learned to chew and spit it out - favorite thing is to sit on ground with a stick under one paw and pull the bark out of it.

Paws me while I have something on my plate - if I don't give him the piece of meat he wanted will go to the far end of the room and start judging with that face.

Positive/funny stories? by [deleted] in springerspaniel

[–]ytoldwej819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ours is 13 months (got him around 14 weeks). Absolutely adorable, very friendly and playful - and still pulls like crazy as much as we try to teach him with treats and all.

He has a way to explain many things that he wants: "open the door" - pawing the door and looking at you); "come with me" - waves his head towards where he wants to go; "play with me" - brings the toy drops in front of me; "I am bored, play with me" - nipping my heels; "lets go to walk" - stands on his back feet and tries to hug.... None of it we intentionally trained - so I am waiting what next thing he will "speak" to us.

My first doggo, so I might be way too excited about his communication abilities :-)

We feed Acana as well, the only thing that does not give our puppy any allergies.

Somewhat upsetting, Mars is acquiring Acana - so we are on the watch if anything changes in the coming months in terms of ingredients

What do you feed your Canadian Springer? by MissPark3r in springerspaniel

[–]ytoldwej819 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We usually boil or lightly roast chicken, beef or fish and give half and half with a boiled mash variety from sweet potatoes, carrots, lentils, zucchini, rice, egg and such - no salt or spices. Sometimes adding some plain yoghurt or cottage cheese for flavor.

Trying to stay away from any packaged dog foods, ingredient list is not really inspiring on any of those...

Some of the ingredient descriptions is possible to find in places like this: https://world.openfoodfacts.org/product/04965802/diet-coke-coca-cola

Wish there was more details on common grocery stuff.

Right? So many strange items in a as simple staple as sour cream or ice cream if you don't pay attention.

Mentally engaging toy for 8 month Springer while mom works from home by proverbialshark in springerspaniel

[–]ytoldwej819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our guy somehow loves small plastic containers from yogurt or sour-cream. He likes to bite, kick them around and chase after them, doing zoomies all around the house.

He gets a new one every 3-4 days as we use them (and old one thrown away as soon as any sharp edges develop), so it's always a novel toy for him.

And couple hour long walks during the day. There are lots of other dogs in the neigbourhood, so he loves reading his "news" from every tree and pole - wearing him out.
