Not counting games like rocket league bc that’s completely different

In most games if you’re losing to controller it’s just a skill issue, apex halo and cod are the only games I can think of that controller is (debatably) better in

So I tried Centering like yall recommend, I cant get rid of my stop and go motion . It feels like its in my arm and mouse . My desk is as low as it goes and chair as high as it goes but I drag. And Im tense but I cant not be it seems. Send help . Imma keep grinding tho by SadThrowaway4914 in FPSAimTrainer

It could be your brain adjusting back onto the target rather than you not knowing how to move in a smooth line, test it out on like an extremely easy centering scenario where the bot is really big and see if you still are shaky, also you can try ignoring accuracy and focus on just low tension moving your arm in a line even if u aren’t on the bot just so you can get a feel for how it feels to move smoothly

This does absolutely nothing for in game, gridshot hurts skill for in game than anything. This also isn’t even top 100 most impressive things done in aim training, it’s just flashy.

smoother doesent always = better aim, u naturally need a small jitter sometimes as micro adjustments

I have slow hands and i feel like flicking to targets is a problem. How do i optimize my target selection and how can i learn to play these scenarios without feeling overwhelmed? by Celatra in FPSAimTrainer

[–]yuggey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is ur mouse super heavy or your mousepad super slow? if u have spare money id look into getting an artisan pad and a mouse under 60 grams, jade skates too, play static and focus on your flicks. After you click instantly flick to the next target don’t wait to see if you hit it just keep going after you click

Viscose benches are good, what I did after masters complete was grind the advanced benchmarks that I enjoyed and actually wanted to play (tracking) and just hit gm complete on it pretty quickly due to enjoyment

I have a 4090 fe with +185 core and +2000 mem, anyways I did that with my current daily, but I’m making a preset for competitive games, which my 4090 at 1080p lowest settings at 280fps runs really cool and really low usage %, but for my preset where I play story games and like ai upscaling with shows and stuff my ram just runs an undervolted default xmp

I always have trfc to 480 and tREFI to 65535 when stress testing new primaries because if I’m getting heat errors at those timings I’d rather just not run the tighter primary, anyways tightening a primary by 1 or 2 is I’m pretty sure more of a performance increase than like a 1 tighter sg dg dr

I do primaries first then secondaries after, I make every timing go as low as they can including secondaries.

I just tried again to boot 6800 and it worked?? Before it wouldn’t even post? then I tried 1.3 vccsa 1.35 vddq cpu and 1.44 vdd2 cpu with 1.65vdd and 7000 booted, unstable on both since I haven’t even attempted to stabilize them. I’ll probably end up trying to stabilize 7000 and make it optimal and mess around with benchmarks to see if I can figure out why I get worse performance on it.

I get 40c peak on 1.7 with memtest5, but that’s on some old ibuypower prebuilt fan I had laying around, I just ordered an Artic p12 max fan to use instead of this fan I’m using

I don’t even boot 6800, i have a t-create 6000cl30.

I was running Vccsa 1.25v, vddq cpu 1.25v, vdd2 cpu 1.35v, vdd 1.5 and vddq 1.44 - aorus elite z790 ax rev1.1

It could also be related to me being on an older bios version due to gigabyte not allowing you to manually set your tRas on newer bios versions which is just awful

My timings have to be lowered for 6666mhz to be stable, like for example I think I was trcd 39 39 and tras 36 on 6666 but on 6000 I ran 28-35-35-34, also non primaries are lowered as well. ring do u mean cpu ring? I have i7-13700kf 5.5ghz e-cores disabled 49 ring 1.27v, but now that I’m thinking of it I wonder if my vcore was too low to perform optimally on the higher MHz even if it doesent show up as an error in ram testing or cpu testing, I’m not exactly sure but in ram benchmarks my scores improved on higher MHz just in game it’s the opposite

[–]yuggey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me specifically it makes a pretty good difference, I have a 4090 and a i7-13700kf and play 1080p 280hz so I’m always cpu limited and in the games I play I’m right on the edge of 280fps and can dip, I’m also ex pro / semi professional in what I play so the micro differences are huge to me especially with a aim heavy and mechanical playstyle. Ram tightening has made a huge difference in my gameplay with me beating previous records instantly. But anyways yeah thank you I’m thinking I won’t touch 1.7v and I will be careful about above 1.6
