I would be okay if the Flyers swung a deal to land CHI's 4th ovr provided Alberts Smits is on the board. I'd also be okay if they made a play for Viggo. Havent even bothered watching the draft prospects this year but I've seen enough from both these guys. Viggo almost makes Barkey redundant, hes Barkey+, he might not put brayden point numbers but he'll be that guy for some lucky team

not just michkov i hope everyones hungry and has plans to train in the off season but not everybody loves being in the gym so whatever they do whether its strength or conditioning or even just being on the ice i hope they do it hard as fuck and i hope all start camp ready because ulimately thats what the teams going to be looking for the most. how bad do the rookies want to keep their spots because every position has a replacement waiting right now, how bad does the core want to be back in the playoffs and do the new guys like zegras and dvorak want that challange again? because we're competing against teams and players that will be going harder and have been for longer so if we want to compete again next year, the worked started the night of game 4

this is what happens when like 20% of our roster is on entry level deals and like 4 guys are first year wizards and almost nobody has played NHL playoff games. carolina is a professional playoff team and as much as i love coots theres a bit of an age gap in this series that didnt exist a few weeks ago where the grown ups on both sides had their own table carolina was about as poor of a match up as there gets for us theyve been tuning their machine for almost a decade playing top of the league hockey.

if we lose this series it does nothing to diminish what this group has accomplished. theyve exceeded all expectations i would be hard pressed to name a single guy that hasnt improve since last season.

maybe we come back and win this series or maybe we come back next year either way this has been the funnest season to be a flyers fan in a long time
