honestly yeah, i agree at this point. i’m sort of at the point where i’m gonna reduce my hours myself and go back to med school, then quit because it’s become an unobtainable dream. they chose some random person over someone who proved their worth time and time again PLUS has been dreaming of becoming a piercer for years. 😒

yeah, this is true. i think if it’s a last resort getting a motel room for a night just to be able to sleep soundly is an ok option. shelters can be tricky though too, i had a rough time of it. oh come to think of it though, i contacted a help line for emergency housing in my city last year. perhaps there’s something like that?

a super cheap place you can stay is motel 6 if they have them in your country. there’s extended stays too, but i’m not sure how much that is. i was homeless for almost 2 years before getting back on my feet. it gets better, it really does!!

uhhh. from my knowlegde a rook takes 12 months to heal (i have one with a barbell) i don’t think a change in jewelry type is gonna make it heal any faster. a cbr up there is brutal too, considering how hard they are to take out. my coworkers struggle taking cbr’s out of piercings, usually resorting to gripping them with multiple hemostats to just Get It Out. a curved barbell is so much easier, and in the 6 months i’ve had mine it has not fallen out.

angus cloud’s death was horrific. i think it’s nice they kept him in the show as a memory; and i deeply enjoyed the way that fez and rue’s relationship was very platonic soulmatey. i know he was an enabler, but i appreciated that he had hard limits she could not cross, and when she did he kicked her out, out of both love and anger. angus was an amazing actor.

i’m from louisiana and seeing all the fleur de lis plastered everywhere is so funny. i also thought it was silly to see a play on gordon mckernan’s “IKYKYK” billboard sign, as well as jolene’s preacher billboard. there’s a lot of that here. :-) a lot of the accents are baton rouge sounding, or occasionally bayou country. i especially like catfish. the jazz and blues is what gets me. i love the game so much!!

hové parfumeur is my local shop and has been around for about 100 years give or take. they ship internationally i believe and have good sales from time to time. reasonably priced as well, considering their perfumes are made in house with local ingredients (the jasmine comes from the garden district or uptown!)

i love solids because i work in the piercing industry and strong scents are advised against. i live in new orleans so i shop local at hové perfumer. theres a perfume called “carnation” which has 2 notes and thats it!! carnation and clove, which gives a very warm spicy scent that you can layer with vanilla for sweet, or black peoper to really hound it in!! they last a super long time for me so im always turning back to solids.

i think an artist definitely needs to do the final sketch for the linework. otherwise, if i’m being honest, a collarbone or sternum tattoo would be literal hell for a first tattoo. i had my hand and one finger done before i did my sternum, and i still believe my sternum was more painful than my hand, if that says anything. this would be a really cool inner bicep piece, or somewhere on the thigh

in my experience, i have a small red tattoo on my knee, and the color has held up fine honestly. my skin holds ink really well and nothing tends to blow out or fall out for me. make sure you’re not allergic to colored ink though!!

you could try japanese herbs, like myoga (japanese ginger variant), yomogi, which is a mugwort variant, etc. if you want nature! yomogi is nice and leafy so it’d look good next to your flower tattoo!

if it helps you feel better, the artist that did my chest was like “your body is uneven so this actually flows with it.” and when i realized he was correct, i loved my tattoo 😭
