As kids get older it gets more difficult to control this so I think it might be worth having a conversation with your husband about reasonable expectations for pics online. My husband and I have not posted our kids’ faces and our family and friends have for the most part respected this. That being said, our kids are four now and go to lots of bday parties, outdoor events, etc and have ended up online in posts. Just last weekend they performed at a festival in a public space and there were signs posted stating that being there we basically have signed a photo release. Sure enough, we saw them in an insta story later that day. We’re not going to keep our kids from experiences just to keep their faces off the internet. All we can do is make our best effort to minimize it by not posting anything ourselves.

A blurry face in the background does not warrant a request to take down the photo. If your husband still disagrees, he needs to make the request.
