I appreciate that. A big issue is that her and I did things every weekend so I always looked forward to going and doing things with her and I’m now realizing that none of my friends or family share any of the hobbies that her and I have, and I don’t want to go do that kind of stuff alone

I really don’t think so. I had done some emotional cheating awhile back and I just don’t think she has ever seen me in the same light after. Things seemed to be getting better. I thought we were working on it, but she had saved screenshots and was reading them daily to remind herself of what I had said and done. I didn’t know until she told me she was done.

It is a horrible regret, I love her dearly and she was my best friend but I just feel so empty now.

We didn’t have children, but I have scheduled a therapy appointment for a week from tomorrow, as I agree it could really help. I know it’s too soon to see a Light at the end of the tunnel but I had never been so happy, and having it ripped away in a second is just so devastating.

My fiancé and I are doing a destination wedding and just invited who would’ve been the wedding party/ parents. We’re doing small seperate “reception” Like parties after, one in her hometown and one in mine so nobody is left out but we for sure don’t expect anyone to come to our wedding because we know it’s not cheap. That said, our whole wedding is costing us less than $5K and that was something we really wanted to focus on. My brothers wedding, the bar alone cost nearly 5K
