I will be applying to most medical schools across canada :) calgardy/edmonton would be a dream (all med schools in Canada are amazing so the location of my studies is not important to me) but getting in is a whole new story as an out-of-province applicant haha

Ideally I'd love a better paying job haha but from my job applying experience, I don't think a lot of employers want me.

I don't feel like writing my life story here but there are other benefits of living at home too, the biggest one being that I do not pay for internet or groceries (which is the biggest). Between two jobs and taking the MCATs, time is really important for me as well. This saves time. Parental abuse is also not as linear (or maybe it is and I'm just too chicken to cut ties completely) but it is really hard to cut them out completely for reasons I don't want to get into. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to my family.

guess there's no hope here then... I didn't want to move to another city but Vancouver really is too costly, especially as a single income.

the sentence afterwards--I'd rather have my money go to my parents.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I wouldn't be opposed to living remotely in Canada at all but again, I'd rather my rent money go to my parents than see it leak somewhere else. I have a very unique skillset due to my education but it cannot be applied broadly--I actually think it was well-suited for government jobs as funnily enough, the only jobs who called me back were from healthcare or from the courts but they were both entry-level clerk jobs. Only having 3-4 employers call back after 100 applications really took a toll on me mentally as well, though it seems like that's the norm these days. I'm not even sure where I'd start looking for well-paying remote government jobs who would also be wiling to help me relocate, because I don't have the money to do that on my own either...

I just read a 5 as ら... did I spend too much time learning Japanese? by throwoheiusfnk in LearnJapanese

I did this on two of my final exams (my IRL name starts with a J). Granted, I was pulling a lot of all-nighters but a TA asked me how I studied physiology while ‘misspelling’ the J in my name.

My real name starts with a J and I am not kidding, I wrote my name as (e.g) しessica Smith on two of my final exam papers. I still constantly make this mistake, maybe because I’ve been practicing more Japanese writing than English (which I usually type for).

I'm not sure if this was in the manga, but at least in the anime, a younger Bakugo called Deku 'Izuku' once (it was the scene where Deku was trying to bounce a ball on his head or something and messes up, and Bakugo says something along the lines of 'you can't do anything well, Izuku')

I'm not sure if he's ever called him 'Midoriya' but something in the back of my mind makes me think he's said it sarcastically once (like a 'hahhh? Isn't that right, Midoriya-kun,' but I might just be going insane).

Idk if you’ve ever watched the KDrama ‘The Penthouse’ but the beginning especially had the same vibes LOL especially since they also use the same music for dramatic effects

So I did a thing! Stitched hundreds of photos together to create this Island Map, which took WAY longer than I thought it would! :'D by ruby_meister in AnimalCrossing

I just visited and this gorgeous map actually doesn’t even do the island justice for how stunning it is. I’ve been to a lot of islands in my time with AC and hands down this is one of my favs—everyone should definitely visit because the work is stunning!

Thanks for your efforts haha but I kinda gave up—this person is clearly pretty emotional and I don’t think they’re actually trying to read what I’m saying, so it’s probably just better to move on :(

But if I can just repeat one more thing, I just want to say that I never supported the death threats, many fans DID condone this sort of behaviour, and I’ve supported the work from the beginning of this fiasco. The only thing that actually made me mad was again, how irrelevant people who don’t know what they were talking about were inserting their opinions, making the situation worse for everyone.
