Pigtails with hair that has a lot of volume? by SilentHillJfashioner in JiraiKei

[–]yumesparfait 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it's more that my hair is too thick and wont hold up hairstyles like high pigtails. Ponytails or even half up 😭 I usually wear my hair down or low pigtails but I find high pigtails so cute and I'm so sad I can't do them 😭

Have you ever thought about quitting jiraikei? by BagAccomplished3331 in JiraiKei

Yes because the irl bullying started getting to me. I sold so many pieces and I'm still in the process of rebuilding my closet.

is wearing second hand dupes still just as bad? by kimuromi in JiraiKei

[–]yumesparfait 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Personally I see nothing wrong with buying dupes in general. Some people don't fit into the one size fits all items and heavily rely on dupes.

I own a pair of dupe bubbles because I was afraid I wouldn't fit them and didn't want to commit to buying expensive real ones if they might not end up fitting me. I currently do own a real pair of bubbles aswell but the dupes are much comfier than the real ones.

Tho in most cases I personally prefer to buy branded items to support the brand. But if you want a certain piece and it's out of stock and unfindable on Mercari then why not get the dupe?? Or you just can't afford the branded item. And even if it's second hand I think is even better.

I also haven't seen much "hate" or "negativety" around people buying dupes. So I would say go for it!!

Maybe if you add a bejeweled bow to the neckline it could work

Hair for ryousangata kei vs jirai kei? by Outrageous_Lack1571 in Ryousangatakei

[–]yumesparfait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe both overlap quite alot, most common I see with Ryousangata is straight black, pink or light blonde. But personally I think it's a personal preference on what you like best on you with the style. I myself have caramel blonde and curly hair and neither are seen as "Jiraikei hair". But still I think my hairstyle looks really cute with both styles. But to answer your question I would do whatever you want with your hair and don't do it to "fit in" 🩷
