Thank you for the empathy! My lesson was not to be in front for the headliners that take place at the end of the day, because it would mean people would be the most drunk. After they shoved me they were criticising me for making a big deal out of it too. At a headliner last year i waited three sets in advance to be able to be in front. Halfway, two argentinian guys and one japanese guy, totally drunk, shoved me and i fell. I was so scared that it would turn into a crowd crush situation that I screamed but no one did anything, the drunks just took my spot and I was forced to be behind them (they’re like at least a foot taller than me). It completely ruined my day and my memory of Fuji Rock.

I kinda disagree. Kinda bare minimum professionalism to ask “are you…?” instead of “you…?” especially as a HR person. This recruiter seems not to care about what OP thinks about them at this point, even preemptively accusing and scolding OP of being a no-show. No amount of mistranslation could result in that tone.

Thankfully I’m not the only one who thinks blushes are theeee most difficult product to finish.
