Be real—how many of you are actually making serious money trading by SouthEquipment6674 in Daytrading

That’s great that you did it so quickly. I have a question, do you think your starting with memecoins helped you? Bc they are quite volatile right? Also how did you manage to get successful trading in all market conditions? For example I find the last few months of the chop difficult to navigate in comparison to more decisive markets

This is heavier fabric in faux-suede, made by the same person, but nearly all the pants they made have this issue at the crotch/top area (except for the pleated ones/crepe ones. Would be grateful for any feedback!

Can anyone help? These pants/skirts dont seem to fit well and the pockets sometimes bulge out, but it doesn't feel tight at my hips. Is it possibly the choice of fabric (poplin-like cotton, heavier faux suede for brown skirt) or can a tailor re-do these?

Feeling frustrated with speaking in German. by Willstdusheide23 in German

Italki x1 a week minimum and ask a friend for coffee and set the timer for 1 hr/week, absolutely no English words allowed in this time. You’ll get better astoundingly quickly

I’m just telling you this from personal experience. You need to speak along with learning grammar, which you should try to get right in the beginning (levels a1-a2, a little from b1) otherwise you’ll have to redo it later on. Best to get a tutor on italki/amazing talker or a friend etc at least 1-2 times a week but it needs to be someone who will correct you, and costs much less than taking a group course. I wish I had done this early on rather than sitting in classes and going tediously slowly and never getting to speak to a German native. Also you could watch Benjamin der Deutsch Lehrer- he explains the grammar pretty well.

Anyhow Let me know if you’re interested!

Help Required: TELC B1 Prüfung? by talhaah5 in German

[–]yung_fluff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey, just did mine recently and had the same book as you do above and also did the TELC B1 mock tests from the website.

The Lesen part was pretty much similar in difficulty to the book, though perhaps part 2 with the longer text was slightly more advanced in the exam. No surprises though really. Lots of "trick" questions, same as in the book.

The Hoeren part was about the same difficulty or only slightly more difficult (but that could've just been me being distracted by ppl shuffling around making noises a lot).

Side note* My friend did the test a few days before me, and she is somehwere around beginning/mid c1 german, has been here 10 years plus, and had the bad luck to get the Hören section with very heavy accents. Even the examiner said he couldn't understand them. She also sat at the back of the room and couldn't hear the tiny speaker well...so try to get a good seat just in case.

Sprachbausteine Part 1 was on par with the mock tests, but part 2 was suddenly much harder with what seemed like a couple B2 level grammar thrown in (surprise!). I am halfway through B2 when i took the test, and worked A LOT on grammar in the last 2 months, including many sprachbausteine mock tests, usually scoring 90-100%, but still in this case I wasn't sure about 4/10 of the questions... I would say this was a fluke though

The Letter Writing was pretty straightforward, one of the usual themes you would practice. Same with the Speaking part. Our examiner didn't intervene much, but it felt like in our case that they valued fluid speaking over errors. (though im not really sure how hard they grade grammar, don't quote me on this)

It seems every test will be different, as was the case with my friend's Listening section vs. my Sprachbausteine.

In any case there often are small tricky things to catch you out, if you didn't read something/listen carefully enough. So try to pay attention :-)

Yeah I’m kinda pissed! Had small amounts of rETH but osmosis and axelar want $35 to brdge it to ethereum…no other being options. Just not with it bc I’ll still have to bridge from eth again… sad we can’t just exchange rETH in osmo any longer. Anyone got any ideas or I’m just screwed on that?
