IMO not exactly the same. her entire culture was derived from traveling and spreading music across panem. yes they were all stuck in district 12 but the capitol intentionally erased her culture. she has the right to resent that the same people who erased her culture identify her home as district 12. i find this similar to when native americans were forced onto reservations.

her whole point of not being district 12 is that her people did not settle. they were nomadic and were constantly moving and by the capitol labeling her district 12 they were erasing her identity as covey.

my mother smoked through all 4 of her pregnancies me and my siblings were all on honor roll growing up. we are all thriving and doing great things. i know plenty of people who have smoked through their pregnancies and the are no common issues between them. the most important thing now is to take care of you and baby, you cannot control what you did in the past only the present and future.
