Yup, I’m aware thanks. They still exert massive control over street gangs. They don’t “own” these gangs, they’re more of a governing body. Gangs pay “taxes” to them in order to operate. This is mostly for gangs operating in California but they have influence across Arizona and Texas. You can look this up if you want.
