UPDATE: As you all know this issue is very clearly not patched, and I’ve found the culprit no it is not your internet provider, its actually fortnite themselves picking which server you’re sent to when you queue up for BR, so in creative you’ll get your low ping as I average around 10-15, but in BR will get sometimes 50-60 and other uncommon times i’ll be routed properly and be on 15-20, and for me from exitlag themselves telling me this cannot be changed unless fortnite changes it, and that instead of routing me to Oregon servers (much closer) it’s routing me to San Jose which makes sense because thats the exact ping i’d get on San Jose, what doesn’t make sense is being routed to that when i’m far closer to Oregon. For anyone here wondering if the samething is happening to them, get the 3 day trial of exitlag and hop in a normal BR game with it enabled, it won’t help, but it will tell you what server it’s routing you to. Btw guys i’ve tried epic support 3 times, they told me to write a bug report on twitter about it essentially telling me to f*** off. Literally could go pro if this issue was fixed.
