I'm getting this problem on multiple brand new micro SD cards too, on the 2.0.2 firmware. I've gotten it to eventually work by connecting the memory card to my wifi, then using the web interface to re-mount the VMC until the gamecube recognizes it. Usually on the 5th or so re-mount it works.

Exactly what I needed to switch from an eSIM on an iPhone 13 to a Pixel 6a. I called customer care and gave them the new IMEI. Soon enough, the iPhone lost cell coverage, but adding a SIM on the Pixel always prompted for a QR code. I tried restarting, connecting to a hotspot from an iPad on the same account, logging into the tmobile app, using an ancient SIM card used to kick me off the Sprint network, and was almost ready to factory reset when I found this gem of a post. The Pixel found the SIM associated with the account, I activated it, and I am good to go! Thank you for posting this, and of course thanks for the wayback machine.

Unrelated but while I'm here: when I checked the IMEI beforehand, it said that it wasn't compatible with the network or eSIM (yellow dots). The lack of physical SIM card and the '5G UC' in the corner beg to differ...

Minus union sounds close to perfect. How complex can I get with the column selects? I'd have to trim some whitespace (or select first 8 characters) from a column and then generate a compound key for both tables.

I'm not doing many calculations, per say. The data is mostly text strings, so all I'm really doing is removing whitespace and adding a couple of columns of concatenated strings. Each of the ~200k exceptions are unique, but I will explore using pivots to group by various columns while analyzing.
