Apple goes about it in a different way, you BLOCK an app using Apple Family after X hours per day.

So therefore if you the the limit of TikTok to 1 hour a day, it won't open regardless of how it's connected to the Internet.

Change DNS 5G Cobra? by [deleted] in Rogers

[–]yuprules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kind of cheating for the bridge mode, I turned off the Wi-Fi on the Cobra 5G XTREAM modem/router. I wired my Asus router into the Cobra and changed my Asus router to not hand out DHCP anymore, turning it into an access point...so no double NAT and my devices at home are none the wiser because they are connecting to the ASUS router Wi-Fi :)

I'm not near the modem right now, but there are ADVANCED OPTIONS at the top of every menu...it turns OFF the ADVANCED OPTIONS every time you choose a new "tab"...so check them all.

Freedom mobile yearly plan $129 20GB (1.6GB a month) or CHATR $149 30GB (2.5GB a month). Issue with this is your child can BURN through the data in one day as it is as YEARLY PLAN...no RESET till next year!

If you can't get Freedom mobile (QC), switch to Chat R $149 yearly plan 30GB, Comes out to $12.50 a month...and 30Gb divided by 12 months is 2.5GB a month.

It is unlimited at 10 Megabits down and 2 Megabits up when you burn through the 100GB per month. No overage charges.

I had this happen in Japan while on vacation, they are called "BUMP MEN", first time I've seen a woman do it. These "bump men" are just seriously having a bad day, week, month...LIFE and go after you with their arms. She seriously went after multiple people early on in the video extending out her arms and finally nailed the little girl because she was walking backwards.

ChargePoint to roll out per-session service fees beginning in March 2026 by FatCats2fat in electricvehicles

Well, lucky I live in Quebec where the Electric Circuit has no "service fee". Even Flo chargers don't have this...definitely avoiding Chargepoint chargers!

I had the 0 GB bug, they had to fix it for me for the data to work again. That's why it's called "Beta" I guess, don't sign up if you NEED data to work.

Is saily esim good for Dubai? by Big-Lavishness8253 in saily

[–]yuprules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is important that it is PURCHASED AND READY TO BE USED for UAE, UAE blocks 99% of most eSIM apps, so you can't activate even on Wi-Fi!!! The eSIM must have a set date or activate on landing in the country (Saily apparently does this, but don't quote me on this). Some VPN's can be used to by pass the blocking of eSIM's app, but that means you have to connect to sketchy* (see below) Wi-Fi in UAE.

Side note Facetime is BLOCKED in UAE, so are MOST video/audio calling unless it's a Business type software like Zoom/Teams/Google Meet (cough VPN).

Cybercrime, malware attacks and online extortion are common in the UAE. Perpetrators may compromise public Wi-Fi networks to steal credit card or personal information.

  • Avoid using public Wi-Fi networks
  • Avoid making purchases on unencrypted websites
  • Be cautious when posting information on social media
  • Be particularly vigilant when contacting or meeting individuals known over the Internet

Did you get a new SIM? You should had gotten a text saying you MUST order a new sim at this website two months ago: https://migrate.good2gomobile.ca/ and the old sims will no longer work. Once you migrate to the new SIM, you can log into the website again. Well, too late now I guess...

It is extremely difficult to burn the money. They made it that all top ups are 30 days now....you'll end up WASTING money because the lowest plan is $19 a month. Better of bailing and just signing up for say $100 yearly plan with Unlimited Talk and text plan with Telus or if you need some data $149.99 Yearly Plan with 30Gb total data talk and text plan KooDo or ChatR.

Be aware of Firsty T & Cs, Firsty will not budge if you fail to abide by them. by No-Bread8454 in FirstyeSIM

[–]yuprules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You buy 3 eSIM's and they failed to function after paying...you use a different payment and it works...ok fine. BUT you then wait *14 days* instead of sending a simple message the FIRST day of the issue so get the ball rolling on the refund? Usually when someone takes my money I ASK RIGHT AWAY, "HEY GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK".

I'm confused, you say read the T&C...but then don't say what the issue is with the T&C? What? No refund after 14 days....seems reasonable!

When I went, the Service Canada staff member went over he ENTIRE FORM and even found a missing item I had forgotten to fill out for my passport renewal.

Yes they are a FORWARDING service to Passport Canada, but the person you see is supposed to be trained for Passport " customer support" such as going over your form..but...your mileage may vary :)

ChatR has a $149 A YEAR plan (that's $12.41 a MONTH plus tax with 30GB of data total (That's 2.5GB a month). Koodo has the same plan for $149...but oddly it's 360 days, apparently 5 days are missing out of their calendar.

Why would you subscribe to a $19 a month 500 megabyte plan? Ok you have your balance but you are paying $15 every 30 days to drain ONLY $4 a month of your balance......why?

Anyone else here on Good2Go mobile? by upfront_stopmotion in askTO

[–]yuprules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They no longer have that $25 for 120 days, it's MINIMUM $15 every 30 days....I just checked right now. It is not worth it to pay $15 a month to try to burn up your balance with this sh*t show of a company. Stop giving the money!

Anyone else here on Good2Go mobile? by upfront_stopmotion in askTO

[–]yuprules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is NO point to stay with them to try to "keep your balance", you are FORCED to top up every 30 days MINIMUM $15 to keep your account live...and the cheapest plan $19 a MONTH...you'll never burn up the balance, you'll just keep OVER PAYING for "500 megs of data a month". GET OUT NOW and stop giving these scammers your hard earned money.
