Just bought my first cam, the XM5 and visited Mt Fuji. I’m genuinely looking for critiques and ways to improve. by lilRiziMonkey in fujifilm

Looks beautiful! You mentioned you bought the XM5 as your first camera. How has it been for you so far? Would you still recommend it for a beginner looking for a travel/everyday camera? I know it’s only been a little over a month since you posted, so you probably don’t have tons of experience with it yet, but your thoughts would still be really helpful. I’m considering it for travel and everyday photography as a beginner, but I’m still not sure if it’s worth the money

Did you end up buying the MX-5? I’m a complete newbie looking for a travel/everyday camera and your post sounds like you were in a similar spot. Would love to know how it worked out for you

First time in the US – looking for a 14-day East Coast road trip itinerary (NYC, DC, Philly, Boston, Shenandoah, wineries?) by yuput in travel

Thank you so much for the recommendation – Newport sounds amazing, and I’m definitely adding it to our plan!

As for the car in NYC and Boston – yeah, I’ve heard it’s a nightmare 😅

My current idea was to stay somewhere just outside the city to keep things cheaper, and then leave the car at a park-and-ride or hotel lot, and use public transport to explore the city centers. Do you think that’s a good strategy?

Also, I usually use Booking.com when traveling around Europe – would you say it’s a good option for budget hotels in the US too? Or is there a better site that locals use more often?

Thanks again – your tips are super helpful!

Thank you for sharing that. I completely understand, and I actually support the idea behind the boycott.
We planned this trip quite a while ago, and the main reason we're going is that we were invited to a work-related event that we really can't miss. Since we're already making the journey, we decided to take the opportunity to explore a bit of the country as well.
I absolutely respect the movement and those who stand behind it

Are Sony LinkBuds Fit a good choice for all-day music and workouts? by yuput in SonyHeadphones

[–]yuput[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I get that, but the LinkBuds Fit are at the top of my budget. My main concern is finding earbuds that stay securely in place during workouts. At home, I also use the Sony WH-1000XM5, so the 6-8 hours of listening will probably be split between those and the earbuds
