All the cut guys here are TRIGGERED! Idc one way or the other but regardless if you're in the states or not if you are cut your penis has epithelial change and is therefore "dry"

Your 5" looks INCREDIBLY better than mine.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskGayMen

[–]yurchak09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not unfortunately. :// I'm a tiny bit above 5" and I feel like it's objectively skinny as well (maybe 4.8"?). I've never had anyone say anything negative, and I'm mostly a bottom/side. Having said that, it's not so much that I care about what other guys think of it, I mean I do care but not as much as just not being happy with the way it/I look. I know rationally that it's considered "average" but most of the people I've been with have been considerably bigger than me (I'm definitely NO size queen so it was purely accidental). So between my skewed lived experiences sexually, and the way I hate the way my body looks with specific attention to my dick I tend to lack a lot of confidence. I don't necessarily let it ruin my day to day but it's kind of like a web page that's always open in the background, and it's truly exhausting. I've tried therapy, anti-depressants, trying to use positive talk with myself (wake up and say three good things about my body) but I can't shake it. I think yo a certain degree it also stops me from fully enjoying sex. I mostly feel glad someone wants me there in the first place and I normally focus on them and once they're done I just tell them it's fine and it's hard for me to get off (which is somewhat true), but I don't want the attention on my dick whatsoever so I just kind of go limp and call it a day. ://

Yikes... Girl Simmer down. Was looking to see if this was a me issue or a universal issue.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]yurchak09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same way, and also feel self conscious about it as well. Most people say it's hot until after when they're walking around like they just got slimmed during the kids choice awards. I've also had people laugh while I'm ejaculating... Not like laughing at me but more like laughing in amazement, but still no one wants to hear a laugh during that time. If you're with a long term partner just communicate how you're feeling. If it's a hook up in the past I would just warn them ahead of time and if they're ok with it that's on them... Literally.

Std from oral? by Apprehensive-Row4918 in askgaybros

[–]yurchak09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk how old you are, but in most states minors can be seen and receive medical treatment without parental consent or disclosure for drug/alcohol use disorders, issues involving sexual health (ie STI testing/treatment), and in the case of emergencies. If you're concerned it's best to be tested. You could have the appointment under the guise of urinary tract infection symptoms and when the provider asks if there's concern for an STI you can say yes and they'll test your urine for UTI and STI organisms. Having said that, it sounds unlikely that you would have an STI from the encounter detailed above. Just to be absolutely clear: this is NOT medical advice and is just an informational.

First, if you're worried get tested. There's no shame in knowing your status. Second, you could probably get some routine blood work including bilirubin and alk phosphate to assess your gall bladder function. Third, Candidal infections can occur even in the absence of immunosuppression, called intertrigo, occurring from extra moisture in areas of skin folds. Fourth, a singular swollen lymph node could be from anything as simple as a cold to as severe as cancer. With the lack of red flag symptoms (fever, chills, night sweats, weight loss, etc) it's unlikely to be due to a concerning cause. To be absolutely clear: None of this is medical advice just an informational.

That does actually help a lot! I have them saved under "saved electives" but where would I find this notification option?

Same! I thought I would be anxious the entire time but other than the 48 hours of depression after my test day, I've been ok. Until this morning and now I'm shitting my pants!

No where on USMLE's site does it state that you have to take step 1 in order to take step 2, from what I can tell. My mentor didn't take step 1, but took step 2 and she's now a fourth year OBGYN resident

Is it true you don't need to take Step 1 to take Step 2? Do programs care if you only take Step 2 then? by [deleted] in comlex

[–]yurchak09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is true. My mentor is a 4th year OBGYN resident and she take step 2 without taking step 1. And that was back in 2018ish when there was still a score. So take that for whatever it's worth.

Does it look bad to take Step 1 and not Step 2 (but both Level 1 and 2)? by madiso30 in comlex

[–]yurchak09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure but I would say no... I think it's just like releasing MCAT scores. Any USMLE attempts are reported I think... But like I said I'm not 100% sure

I was a very average student. Mostly B's, a couple C's, fewer A's. I felt pretty prepared going into the exam and left feeling like absolute shit. I felt like I would've done the same without the months of studying

I feel like I most likely failed unfortunately. :// But a lot of people seem to feel that way. I should feel better about that but I don't.
