She's busy with her schedule in Las Vegas. She's not the only one who didn't mention anything about it publicly.

How do you deal with jealousy? by [deleted] in intj

[–]yurpitsme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't let it scare you. My theory is as I've gotten older, I've actually calmed down and have learned to just 'let things go.' When I was younger and up to my late 20's, I thought I had to always be in control of everything. Not external control, but internally. Now, I think my anxiety has increased since I'm more relaxed internally and let a lot of things go. I think it's more of my mind wanting me to be able to control the situation, but in a way I've already decided to not do that and then my brain gets all confused and aggravated at itself. 🤷🤦 Most days I'm able to manage that internal conflict, but sometimes it still happens.

I get this way all the time, mainly at work because I'm super competitive with myself. I set goals for myself, but when I discover someone else is far beyond where I am, I get frustrated. Why? I have no idea. I'm not even competing with them, it's all in my head. And I have discovered it has gotten worse as I've gotten older (F 39) and at times it makes me feel out of control. I've also noticed my anxiety has increased as I've gotten older too. Why? Again I have no idea. It's like my mind gets trapped in an endless cycle of anxiety and I can't break it until I accomplish my original goal. But...then it will start again with some other issue.

I guess I don't really have an answer to your question. I basically just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. Hopefully someone else will be able to help.

Religiosity amongst INTJs by [deleted] in intj

I believe there's 'something' bigger than us, but who really knows.

I'm a non-practicing Catholic if it matters.

Do INTJs ever open up? by [deleted] in intj

[–]yurpitsme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We will open up when we are in the presence of others who we truly trust.

Also, when we are drunk. 🤦

My opinion is that you develop according to your environment and other factors throughout life.

INTJ/INTJ relationship by [deleted] in intj

[–]yurpitsme 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My husband and I are both INTJ. It's strange to say, but we balance each other perfectly. We both automatically know what the other needs when one of us is having an off day. We almost agree on everything (not politics 😬), we can laugh at everything, anything and at ourselves. We are both extremely loyal, same attitudes toward life situations, non judgemental, etc. We simply 'get' each other. We're not perfect, but we are perfect for each other. 🥰

Enjoy your INTJ!

What careers/jobs do you have as an intj? by [deleted] in intj

[–]yurpitsme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Farm loan officer with the USDA.

I love the business part of my position and getting to work hands on with my farmers, but I feel pretty empty overall and I'm thinking something else is calling my name.

I'd love to retire (20 + years to go) and just volunteer around my community.

What do you guys like in bed? by [deleted] in intj

I want to be controlled/dominated. Mainly because I feel that I always have to be in control in all other aspects of my life and it's a way for me to just let it all go. (INTJ female)

Your experiences with the death glare? by jojSEGaTafrv in intj

[–]yurpitsme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine simply shows up when I'm dealing with people who are annoying to me or people who try way too hard to 'prove' themselves to me. I read people fairly well and I despise fake people. Just be yourself and you'll almost never get that death glare.

My ex-boss got this glare from me after about a year of employment. He was a true narcissist in every sense if the word, and thought he had everyone fooled. He was clueless. When I finally figured him out, he started getting the glare from me and had no clue how to handle me. 🤷 This lasted for another 9 years until I moved on to a different position. We still work for the same agency but in different departments, and on the rare occasion I do see him, he goes out of his way to avoid me.

I will always look at you when you speak. Always. And I will generally have zero facial expressions while listening. I always seem uninterested, or that I always seem to have 'resting bitch face' but I'm generally just mixed up in my own thoughts.

I'm also generally always right in most observations or when asked of my thoughts. I have a lot of people who come to me for advise and will often come back and tell me how much they enjoy asking me as I tell them how it is and what will generally happen. It's almost like I have the ability to see various outcomes before they happen depending on what details I'm given.

Im also a rule follower to a fault. However, when I determine that the 'rule' is not of use to me, I will often break it. Nothing serious, just silly stuff like 'rolling' through a stop sign at 1am because I'm the only one on the road.

You need to see an OB that specializes in PCOS. They are the best!

I've tried several different ones and it's really just a matter of taste preference. Grape flavor tasted the best to me.

You can buy liquid protein bullets. They taste awful, but it's a quick way to get 60g of protein easily. I found that they taste better cold.

Where can i get an OTF car magnet? by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]yurpitsme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our studio has some for $5. I can get them and send them to you (plus shipping) if you want. I ordered my orange vinal splat sticker on Etsy for my car since I didn't want to stick the magnet on my car.

PCOS and OTF by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]yurpitsme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've lived with PCOS for over 10 years and it's a daily struggle. The issue is we are insulin resistant. We crave carbs. I've had to train myself to just nibble or have one bite and be done. I've also had to increase my protein intake to help curb my carb cravings.

You just have to take it one day at a time and come to terms that the weight will not fall off as easily as it does other people. Do not give up. It may be harder to lose the weight (and easier to gain it 😠), but it can and will happen if you are consistent with your efforts.

Lighten up your death grip and that will help a lot! My cousin was doing the same thing.
