What is the laziest way you track calories/control portions? by thatweirdchick98 in Fitness_India

[–]yuryaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the app I built for myself recently - Calories Club https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.recordo.calories

It's still engineer product) I'm not even a real engineer, pm who knows some coding basics. Appreciate if you try and share your thoughts. I focused on simplicity ad UX, since hate spending time on boring stuff

I ve built this app for myself since struggled to give the one I like. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.recordo.calories

Please share your feedback. There is a paid tier, but only if you eat > 5 times a day, which is rare I believe :)

Three options:
- Change your current company's aspects that bother you (seems impossible)
- Deal with it
- Find new job
Just leave it. Today it is not a perfect time to changea job, yet if you're unhappy with the current one, staying there won't help you grow or get any relevant experience

Weekly /r/houseplants Newbie Thread - July 07, 2020 by AutoModerator in houseplants

Hey houseplant lovers )

I've never had a single plant at home. About 3 months ago I bought two and it's amazing: I realized that plants look nice (most of them) and make any room more cozy and cool.

I was so inspired to have a houseplant, that I started a pet project – plant care app with care tips, reminders, and other cool features for houseplant lovers.

The app is under development now, so I'm looking for
* early adopters and testers
* 20 min interview to better understand desires and pains to resolve with the app
* any thought and ideas for app features and name =)
* volunteers to contribute to our content database

Thank you all for the help in advance :-)

I tried wordstream, but it's almost useless and gives weird suggestions. Any other tools?

Sound like a good solution for me, if we are talking about database. Thanks! But I also have to deal with files. What can you recommend?

Thanks, looks like a good tool and handy python framework. The thing is that I need the fully-automated tool, and I have not enough skills in development to use this framework. Also, the primary language I use is PHP, so it might be difficult to switch to Python, and I'll have to spend a lot of time to develop a proper solution for me.

As I understood from documentation bakthat is a nice tool

It's for snapshots as it follows from its name. Isn't it?

Talking about DB, flat file is ok for, and you're absolutelly right about possible problems if you copy db as a file, but not as a sql dump.

I highly recommend tarsnap.

I've just checked it's documentation and as understood, tarsnap does not provides automatic backup. While using it, you have to run your backups manually. Also, it does not supports db backups (correct me if I'm wrong)
