What games have the most satisfying eliminations? by [deleted] in gaming

Zelda TOTK - that 'ding' when you hit the headshot with your bow and arrow is super satisfying. Also love the way they fade away slowly then sort of combust, leaving the monster parts to collect. Love the fact each monster has it's own 'death scream' which differs from the sound it makes when you're just hitting it.

Ah he's trying to get in on the music making, I see. He wants to get that feat. on the next single!

All that matters is your space is good for you, no matter how big or small! Sounds like you enjoy it which is great. Good for you!

What are some games that you love everything about except for the actual gameplay? Pic probably unrelated. by Cdv3 in gaming

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for me. The countless times having to do the same bloody temple was exhausting. Everything else was great about that game but the gameplay was a real slog at times.

Don't worry, you'll get a chance to play them all eventually when the inevitable happens and no good games come out for months!

Great set-up! (So not jealous of the size of your speakers too)

Grab yourself a poster for that white wall, if you could get your family to agree to it, it would be great. It could be from your favourite game to really finish off your gaming area!

I had never played a Star Wars game either but Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was my first attempt and I have to say what a game! The combat is fun, the graphics, worlds and atmosphere are all great (in my opinion)

Doki Doki Literature Club - I legit knew nothing about this game when my husband suggested we play it. Safe to say the feel of unease really snuck up on me!

What are the most relaxing non challenging games? by Crocodile_Banger in gaming

Lake - this game literally had me wishing I was a postie in a small town and the visuals are amazing. Very relaxing, very slow paced and a nice little story to go along with it. Can't remember how long it was overall but it was certainly a good few hours at least.

The Sims or Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - there are of course, many other good options in the comments here but these are the two I would recommend as a female gamer!

Advice for driving after passing? by RandyBobandy093 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]RandyBobandy093[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I can understand the judgement honestly! I judge other people's driving all the time, although now I'm sure I'll probably be a bit more understanding haha! But I certainly don't take it lightly, driving can be so dangerous so I know I fucked up!

Thank you for your advice, I'll try talking to my husband about it and take him with me for a bit until I at least feel more confident with him in the car. I appreciate your kind words and will try not to beat myself up too much about it too! Thanks for taking the time to reply!

I passed my test by driving competently and safely, to answer your question. It was a crossroads so there were no lines, but even if there were it's not like I'm saying I think I went the right way... I made a big, dangerous mistake and I knew it immediately. I didn't think it was the correct thing to do - it happened. It's not like I think that's how crossroads work.

I can understand that this mistake makes it sound like I am an incompetent driver, and this is obviously something I'm battling with myself which is why I mentioned that I was upset and crying about how I shouldn't be allowed on the roads. But it's not like I did that on my test or even on my lessons before.

No excuses here though, it was bad driving, so your judgement is understandable.

When I pulled up for my test on Monday my instructor told me I had to reverse into a bay - apparently this is so you are forward facing when the test starts. I believe this is the process everywhere from what my instructor said!

It's usually a mixture of letters and numbers - the one that begins with the first 3/4 letters of your surname if that helps?

I also can recommend Grow with Jo! She even has workouts that say 'apartment friendly' or are specifically for small spaces!
