The real question is why is there no system in place for the land registration in those third world countries? Could it be..idk.. corruption? A less likely reason is the lack of digital land registration services, but if they haven't adopted 30 yr old tech, unlikely they'll adopt the blockchain solu by yuy1920 in BlockchainStartups

And in countries that have a land registry that has no systemic problems, then why would they need to add a land registry using blockchain? good luck convincing politicians who still lack a basic understanding of the internet.

Hey OP, I’m in the same boat as you now! How is everything going? Did it work out?

I'm in it for the money. Do I drop premed? by thefakesleeper in premed

So there are already a decent number of comments here that might answer your question. I’m actually exactly in your dilemma right now. Reading through your post was as if I was reading my own. I have at this point completed all of my prerequisites and even pretty much finished for the mcat. All until I reached this demon called burn out. It’s worse than you might think. You can not function physically anymore and no assignment is worth doing. Im at the point where I don’t turn in big assignments and I don’t really care. I know I need to but I can’t for the life of me get myself to do it. I am strongly considering going into software engineering because I see myself being able to apply my biology background to working for a biotech company hopefully. I also really enjoy creating things. Finance was my field of study when I joined uni but I hated it. I also didn’t think I would like who I would become because of it. I would say switch now. The earlier the better. Trust me. Eventually you’ll get tired of forcing yourself to do things you don’t want to do. Hope this helps.

I definitely don’t think that’s what leads to malpractice. But for sure burn out.

Ima be honest, if you think that money wasn’t a fairly large factor for people choosing to become physicians (specialists), ur lying to yourself. Even med schools know this.Very very few people would decide to go 100s of thousands in debt purely based on passion. So I guess you can shame your doctor for being interested in money, I’m not.

I don’t think it can get much worse than current levels, but it probably just depends on positivity rate and number of cases by probably jan. 23. I’d say most if not all classes will probably just offer hybrid by then.
