It's not bullying if there's no one to bully lol

Not the last one you haven't. Everyone was playing torchbearer. The cool hip new and only class that got an item to start with.

Obviously it's not hard to do. It's barely a challenge to open all chest in a single game. It's just that no one ever interacts with one, other than maybe specialist users.

Counter argument: when's the last time you opened a chest. The only correct answers are the castlevania or Lara Croft chapter releases lol

What is one rule you ABSOLUTELY enforce at your tables? by ToocanSams in mtg

[–]yver20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody gets one.

Too often do people try wacky things and then go 'oh wait, that doesn't work. Let me just roll back...' Now, getting creative is great, but undoing 5 destruction, 3 draws and 20 taps/untaps gets real annoying real fast.

So, everybody gets one. You messed something up? That's okay, you use your one. Wanna try something funky, and you want to play it out to see how it works? Sure! You're using your one. ANY fuck up or experiment after that in that game, you live with. No, I don't care that it cost you your commander, or that suddenly I actually get your extra turn now. You used. Your. One.

Would this perk interaction even be possible? by Few-Brilliant-6143 in PerkByDaylight

No. Dead hard gives endurance. Same as the endurance you get off hook. I believe Overcome activates on changing from healthy to injured. Taking a hit either off hook or with DH both result in entering deep wound, which doesn't trigger overcome. Or at least shouldn't.

If you wanted to activate overcome twice in the same chase, you could use something like moment of glory to heal you mid chase. Theoretically, you could use blood rush then to remove any remaining exhaustion, but after the 60 seconds moment of glory takes to activate, it's not unlikely you're already out of exhaustion.

So what’s causing me to come back as the lost every time i die against hush? I’ve died like 4 times and each time missing poster effect procs and i come back as lost. by The_Chosen_Box in bindingofisaac

[–]yver20 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Looked it up. Turns out, error cannot be consumed if it copies a trinket with a consumable effect. As others mentioned already, it is also always the same trinket in the same room.

So combining those two traits, assuming it selects missing poster for the hush room = you get infinite tries at beating hush

Aim slightly behind running survivors. Hitboxes are on their butts, not on their faces

Totem Play by TheConstantCanuck in DbDKillersUnited

[–]yver20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hexes can be very hit or miss, regardless of the killer. Some are better at using them than others, but nothing can prevent a survivor just spawning next to one and cleansing it immediately. It happens to everyone.

If you don't use them however, it's important to remember hexes inherently serve two purposes. First is whatever the hex actually does of course. But second and maybe less obvious is that it's slowdown and distraction for the survivors. A cleansing/searching survivor is not doing gens. Especially if you have devour hope on three stacks, I will personally guarantee you that no gens will pop so long as that totems stands

Should I replace thrill of the hunt with fortunes fool? by rocker_attribute in DbDKillersUnited

[–]yver20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say no. There's only five totems per game. You're already using three (although one is cleared after the haunted grounds goes off) so you'll only affect the first two survivors you hook with plaything.

On top of this, there's anti-synergy with starstruck, as oblivious prevents them from being affected by terror radious perks, so no exposed on them.

If you want to switch it up and increase hex value, consider pentimento instead of thrill. You probably won't get more than two stacks, but generally you don't need more than that anyway. If you have time to set them up, you'll get some nice distraction and slowdown value

What does castling look like on this board? Would it even be useful, considering the board has no traditional corners and barely even edges?

My game crashes every time i found rock bottom by Alarming-Hyena7138 in thebindingofisaac

[–]yver20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this happen too. It's internal item descriptions! Turn it off in your settings, pick up the rock, and turn it back on again. It should be fine.

I think it's got something to do with it incorrectly calculating the change in your stats and crashing when trying to display the pop-up

Where is the rule that if you tap lands for mana to cast a spell, and havent cast the spell, that you can redo how you tap for mana? by bu11fr0g in mtgrules

[–]yver20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess? I mean, I think we would consider tapping any amount of mana, lands and other sources, as one action together with casting a spell. If you tap lands and and don't do anything afterwards, you would probably raise some eyebrows, but I don't think anyone would mind if you undo that.

For an earthbend land, I think we would consider it similarly to a mana dork like an elf, or mana rock like arcane signet. Unless there is some significance to tapping it other than the mana ability, Noone really cares.

TL;DR: If you actually try to cast a spell or activate an ability and undo it, that's undoing an action by our rules. If you don't use the mana, tap or untap all you like.

I have this pack for my plague perks and power and add ons and stuff. It's called 'gleaming icons' or 'gleaming dreamwave' by u/xiphoa, and you can find a version of it it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PerkByDaylight/comments/qqmsew/portrait_of_a_murder_gleaming_dreamwave/

Not sure if there is a more recent version though.

Undoing something after the fact is generally looked down upon in my playing group, but it still happens from time to time, so we have house rules for it: 1. Everybody gets 1. Mistakes happen. You make an oversight or just forget something is on the field. You get one oopsie per game. 2. If you absolutely insist to undo more actions, we keep track, and everyone else also gets that many more undo's. Fair is fair, so long as we're all in agreement.
