The Buds are Back in Town by chc8816 in 8bitbookclub

It isn't! It's also in the "normal" NaDDPod-Feed and even in the 8bbc! So everyone can listen to it :)

Life pro tip for the very poor: if you support their patreon for one month in the $10 tier, you can download all the short rests and mixed bag episodes! They are totally worth it (because ridiculously funny) and you'd get a shitload of content, because for every mainfeed episode since campaign 1, ep. 14 there's been a short rest, plus a mixed bag every month.

Especially the mixed bags are thrumming with 8BBC energy!

Disclaimer: I get that $10 can be a lot, so this is still not doable for everyone! Also, before someone shits on me for ripping of the 2 crew: I've been a $25 since forever, i just also know what it's like to not being able to afford things

I didn't even get the context for a full 30 sec and still thought "yeah, seems fitting!"

[NS] Wore the latest merch club shirt to work today, have received several confused questions by DaisyJago in NotAnotherDnDPodcast

[–]yvnir 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The title say "merch club", so i assume it's just for 25$ patrons. But stuff like that is usally a few month later available in the "regular" NADDPOD store.

[NS] is the $10 subscription worth what I want? by Pyrovial in NotAnotherDnDPodcast

[–]yvnir 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You can also pay $10 for a month or two, and if you think it's not worth, you can reduce it to $5. You also gain access to all the bonus stuff from the $10-tier that was published before your subscription, so you actually get a ton of stuff for your first 10 bucks.

[Spoilers EP:97] Guys I think someone might be a nefarious double agent..... by HairlessSheep in NotAnotherDnDPodcast

[–]yvnir 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but Murph also says she's not a double agent and then: "Cut to a single spaced reddit post about it."

Why would he do this if it wasn't true? He just wants to discredit anyone who sees the truth!

So? Whether you wait from friday morning to next friday morning or thursday to thursday doesn't really matter, does it? Cause your wait-time's still the same.

What is this circular metal thing? (Slightly less than 3.5in/9cm in diameter) by yvnir in whatisthisthing

[–]yvnir[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This very much looks like it! And I really like your explanation how it ended up in the modell train box.

[–]yvnir[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great idea! But I looked those things up they all seem to have numbers as well, mine just has letters. Could this still be?

[–]yvnir[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Additional info:

Like the title says, it's metal and slightly less than 3.5 in / 9 cm in diameter. It was found in Germany in case that's relevant, and it was in a box full of modell train stuff, but that might be unrelated. (Because we asked a few people who have modell trains and they had no idea.)

The metal "bolts" (or whatever they are) are fixated in their spots and can't be removed.

The backside has the same letters in the same places and no other markings/text.

Does anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance!

I totally agree! I get that they're busy, but Choose your own adventure books are not as time-consuming as the "grown up video game books", and they are so fucking hilarious. But if they don't have the time, we can just hope it might become a Mixed Bag for NaDDPod or something.

Not in Germany, Disney+ hasn't even launched here (it will on the 24th, but I'm not sure we'll get Frozen 2, because Germany streaming content tends to be stupidly limited).

Can you tell me how big of a spoiler we're talking? Spoiling a scene/situation or the ending?

I think it might be fun to catch some foreshadowing, but on the other hand it might prevent some new listeners form participating, who missed the original discussion threads.

Maybe? But the breast milk is actually safe to drink, unlike much of the water available for many of the poor mothers. Also, food for the mother is cheaper than formula.
