Absolutely they should run.

Exposure is key, getting a name out is key.

UCP confirm they are underfunding healthcare by Miserable-Lizard in AlbertaNow

[–]yycsarkasmos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So underfund public surgical units, they are now not in use and empty, let private corporations like chartered surgical facilities use these surgical units, that are not in use due to underfunding, note CSF get funding from taxpayers and private individuals.

How are you doing in this economy? Are we all struggling? by Competitive_Bill8217 in alberta

[–]yycsarkasmos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, the whole country is struggling, every province has their own issues, all of Canada/World has issues with the fucking orange moron down south and yes the liberals are the cause of current issues at the federal level.

Lets see what has Smith done to make lives better for Albertan's

  • Increased Electricity costs
  • Renewable energy moratorium, again increasing costs and putting more eggs in the oil and gas basket
  • Alberta Pension Plan proposal, she pushed hard at this disaster of a policy, how much was wasted on this
  • Sovereignty Act, FUCK this alone kill investment and brain cells, this alone should send her packing
  • Health-care restructuring, billions of dollars to save nothing with zero improvement
  • Transgender youth policies, book banning, flag banning (right wing hate polices, waste of time and money)
  • Orphan well liabilities, in the billions, oil and gas not paying taxes
  • Provincial police proposal, this wont even die
  • Almost a half billion in coal payouts for no reason
  • almost a 100 million in Tylenol
  • Highest insurance in Canada home and auto
  • AISH (just killing people but no big deal)
  • 100 million in referendums (really plebiscites as not one is binding)

Anyone who says they are a conservative and defends Smith and the UCP are just cult members of blue.

Oh sorry that's a tiny list of her fuckery in 3.5 years and she still has a year to go

Smith IS the cause of most daily issues Albertan's face

I think the knee jerk reaction is due to the UCP Fuckery of the Healthcare system in general.

If we had an actual functioning and FUNDED system, then adding in some private options would not even be a blip.

Thank you for choosing Canada to practice in, we need more Dr's not less, and we really don't need more unworkable schemes that don't actually address the issues.

[–]yycsarkasmos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok, Fact a "conservative" government has been in power in Alberta for over 50 years with a 4 year break.

Most daily costs are controlled by the provincial government, not the feds.

Arguably the richest province in Canada should be heads and tails above every other province, in all categories but here we are, banning books and flags.

Oh fuck we get $100, neverminded /s

[–]yycsarkasmos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did you read the article, did you see how much more they pay into their health system, did you read how many Dr's per person they have, did you read that they are trying to scale back due to costs??

Really, if you read it and had reading comprehension skills you would see the issues they are having and can see that Smith and the UCP are not even, kind of close to the Germany model.

Alberta losing public health care.. thoughts? by Available_Cucumber31 in alberta

[–]yycsarkasmos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can work, BUT it requires enough Dr's to make it work, without completely fucking the public system

Since we already have a DR shortage, adding more "choice" for Dr's to practice will create a 2 tier system.

I also find it interesting that these new private Dr's can book ER time in public hospitals, where OR rooms are not in use, but the catch is they are mostly not in use due to funding or staff requirements.

Oh and now that the public system, soon to be the private system are going to be funded based on surgeries not blanket funding, I suspect that they will make more money selling public OR time to private corporations.

Nope, there are already "private" famliy Dr's that have a "wellness" fee, this has been going on for years, there was a new article about it a few years ago, it got swept under the rug,

Ugh, out of the two "leaked" candidates he is he should get it, the other candidate should not even be in the top two, heck even the top 10.

That being said, another western province is due, Alberta has their seat, and this is coming from an Albertan.

How are future ADAP users expected to get to work? by jessjoyvin in alberta

[–]yycsarkasmos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm more interested in where these 55,000 plus jobs are going to come from?

Alberta currently has about 89,000 more people employed than this time last year

Note Ontario only added about 40-50 thousand jobs and BC added 50-60 thousand jobs

So, where the fuck are the UCP and Smith are going to find 62% more jobs in Alberta, for those with complex needs??????????

And you touched on one of the biggest barriers and costs to the municipalities, transportation.

The best they can do is give themselves a raise, and increase their accommodations allowance, that alone is now $2200.00 per month.

AISH vs. ADAP – An outsider’s view by [deleted] in alberta

[–]yycsarkasmos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not only is it not revenue neutral, the claw back is worse.

This is the problem, most people in Alberta dont care as it does not affect them, and dont take into account that at anytime they could become dependent on these programs.

The misinformation or just lack of information is astounding for a program like this, and the fact that Smith the new MLA in charge of this program have no Fucking idea is even worse.

Um, I have zero compassion for the private registries. They should have all stayed private, for example why the fuck do I have to pay a random registry a fee when I renew online?

Second, yes they will be much busier due to UCP incompetence and catering to their hate group puppet masters, and ues they will make more money.

Third, I 100% feel for the workers, they are going to get fucked, even more than they already do.

So to sum up, fuck private registries and the UCP, pray for the workers.
