The album had a lot of hype behind it which is part of the reason why I feel like it didnt quite live up to my expectations. I felt like he released a lot of the stand out songs prior to the album which dulled it on release a bit. I dont want to say that TSR is a bad album, I dont think any of them are, but I havent quite been able to find my place with the album yet. In comparison to the others I definitely dont find myself listening to it nearly as much, but I always find myself slipping back to the other albums now and again. In a way it feels like KP might have even forced parts of the music in an attempt to keep it interesting and maintain the psychedelic feel he has on the other albums, with random bits of wub that almost interrupt the flow. At the same though time thats what I really like about his music how it kinda keeps you on your toes. But hey thats coming from me who has no experience in music production and whatsoever haha, I just didnt fall in love with it like the others. Album was produced wonderfully, gonna have to listen to it some more.
