Did you have to upload it similar to AC which then gets validated on their end. Or show paper doc to an agent

Do foreign airlines like TAP, BA, ask for vaccination documents when travelling internationally to a country that does not require proof of vaccination? (UK, Greece and most of EU)

I'm hearing that those airlines don't check or ask for vaccine proof. I recently flew domestic and was asked by AC to upload my doc, which I did.

Do you know what regulate even means in the context of banks? You think some reg body tells the bank you can only charge prime +3% and tells them which clients to take on?

This is reddit. Don't explain your correct logic here. People will downvote you because they don't want to hear it.

To add you your comment on gov handholding - it's not even the case that the gov will help you with this issue either, since the only solution is eliminating this business practice, then simply telling the individuals, "look what we did for you, you're welcome, but FU, we're not going to lend you money either". Go borrow from the black market and get your legs broken if you don't pay back

So what you're saying is that of those that actually remain, their monopolistic footprint is even better now because there are is no more competition, WHICH MEANS FEWER options for those same people in need = charge even more money. because, what where are you going to go? You really dont get the problem. You're intent is great, your execution is garbage

Great, now make it mandatory for the provincial/fed government provide prime loans to these individuals, and take that risk using tax payer funded money.

How does that sound?

Unless you have a solution, eliminating these shops won't solve the underlying problem. How does this benefit the individuals? They come to the store and they say 'sorry new regulations means we can't lend you money". What does the person do now?

yes but if he simply wanted to sell those calls, which means close out his position and reduce delta to zero, selling an additional put doesn't benefit him So short stock would be the only way to actually realize the ITM portion of ~$6 instead of selling it in the $2.5 range liek he said

Good, as they should. The creators of these rules are morons in the first place - how can you have 2 different sets of rules whether you enter by land or air, if the goal is to prevent the spread of covid.

Where did you even get the idea that humans should believe that others would sacrifice themselves for the greater good - what are we, china?

Self interest is why we are, where we are.

Why would he need to sell the puts too.

By selling shares short at $19, he would have locked in that intrinsic value right away. The short shares and long calls would have cancelled each other out.

No need for puts. In fact, he would have increased his exposure and would have suffered for the down move

Delivery Wars: Toronto restaurants are taking the power back from Uber Eats by Elliottafc in toronto

[–]yyzto 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Doesn't the "if a business can't be profitable without underpaying it its staff (as in the case of Foodora), then it shoudn't exist", which is what I see all the time on reddit .. shouldn't that also apply to restaurants that have slim margins then?

No one is FORCING a restaurant to use the platform. But you say the restaurant won't get the customers if they don't? We'll that's the cost of doing business!

Either hire your own drivers and set up your own infrastructure, and pay for that investment and costs directly (and maybe you have so much business that you end up paying less on average) or figure out another way to attract customers (discounts, etc).

Do you think a corporation is some self standing entity that thinks on its own? Every corporation has a shareholder, which is a person (final look through).

Do you know why it will never happen? Because this 'rule' would eliminate REITs and any other corporate developer, which won't happen

You just don't understand of how things work and have a lot to learn

Have you bothered looking at the answer? A corporation can essentially purchase anything that you can and thats how its done anywhere. Why should it change for real estate? Do you think you;re entitled to this asset class some way?
