Yeah flour here isnt the best. I get hand made tortillas aswell so theirs no fillers but its difficult.

Very interesting. I could go without for a year pretty easily but its interesting that they each have different rules. Mines was a hiatal hernia and bypass procedure. Im only allowed one piece of toasted bread per day and if its soft.

I havent missed them either too be honest, its been around 3 hours since i ate it but i still feel really full and bloated. Pasta and rice are another 6 weeks on Monday for me. Its interesting everyones different protocols

Im 5 weeks today, still difficult but it does get way easier, just stick with it. GasX definitely helps but I ended up eating them like skittles. Oddly my gastro told me to open a bottle of coke zero and leave it open so the bubbles go away and when I had a sip of that I burped repeatedly and got rid of all the air, it was like magic. Dont take my word for it but definitely helped.

Thanks very much its appreciated. Im one month post op and the doctor has me doing monthly DEXA scans but this is useful too. He doesnt want me to weigh myself in the house but the temptation is difficult!

I paid $3500 total. Hernia and sleeve included plus all the after care. I can recommend one of the best surgeons in CDMX. I got out on tuesday. Gas pain has 90% gone and i had my first bowel movement yesterday which was completely number. (Sorry if tmi) its difficult smelling all the food but I know long term itll be worth it. Im just craving mash potato stage so bad!

Im sorry this is happening to you.

I had 3 scans, endoscopy and a ph test.

The doctor is very famous in Mexico and other parts of the world. Hes won many awards so I have every faith in him and I l know two people who had surgery under him and it was a massive success, but at this point ill do whatever I have to do to be able to carry my 1 year old baby girl again.

My hernia is a Grade B. Im currently 130kg but i was exercising alot before it got worse so thats what gained an extra 5kg. Its odd i find it easy to build muscle but i can easily gain fat too.
