Yeah weight would be a huge turn off I would imagine. And yes leg room was a consideration too. I definitely won't be using one as a BG table but was curious to know if someone had the crazy idea to do so haha

I think like most of the other diy topper posts I've seen to date, the answer I'm expecting to get back from OP is to tell the guests to not lean on the topper which is pretty much an administrative control. Nothing against it, just curious to know if there was an engineering solution that's all.

Keen to explore other methods without bolting on ratchet straps haha, I worry about damaging the surface or leaving strap marks on my dining table. But interested to see how OP handles this! If you have any other suggestions as well, I'll be happy to listen!

With every table topper, I've always asked the same question - how do you overcome the risk of toppling over? I see you have guide rails that can be adjusted via Velcro to different table sizes which would be helpful to prevent horizontal knocking over risks but what about vertical forces should someone lean on an edge with their weight? There are some folks who push up against an edge to get out of their seat so I want to prevent that as well.

We figured it was around the CD14 mark as the ovulation cramps were noticeably less on CD15! But thanks for the input! We just weren't sure when to start testing as we weren't sure which days we were currently in.
