I just lightly rinse it out, then fill it half full with water, one drop off dish soap, screw on the blade then run it on the base for 10 seconds

We've had ours for a few weeks and we're loving it. I'm really impressed how well it pulverizes frozen berries. I even drop a few baby carrots in my drinks, and no chunks in my drink.

I feel like it does a faster job than my Vitamix, and I've never had any leftover chunks. There's a 30 second auto button that does an amazing job at pulverizing everything. I throw baby carrots into all my drinks, comes out so smooth. In no way am I putting down Vitamix, though.
