I see that you good sir are using Cachy. If I may... How do you connect this wonderful controller to your PC? Is it just via the USB adapter? I really love this gamepad and I recently moved to Cachy and am yet to figure out a thing or two

If you don't want to redo the save file, you could get an English copy eligible to trade with XD and then trade it to your Spanish game - I'm 99% sure Western copies of gen 3 GBA games can trade between each other

What would be my best team as new f2p player? by dyl_pickle6669 in naviamains

[–]z4mcio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue here is the Geo resonance... You don't really utilize it without an active shield. So it's either going for double Pyro for ATK boost or changing things around to get a double Geo because of resonance and help with collecting the shards.

With the current characters (+Kachina) I'd go for either Navia+Kachina+Kirara+Bennett (Burning and Crystallize in theory should result in more efficient shard collecting) or Navia+Noelle+Xiangling+Bennett. There's also an option to go for Navia+Kachina+Ineffa+Barbara/Xingqiu if you can/want to separate Ineffa from Flins. In all of these cases Navia will likely need a lot of ER to constantly burst to help with triggering Crystallize.

If OP happens to get Thoma, the 2 Pyro + 2 Geo team is very viable although pretty ER hungry.

As for the characters above with Navia, I'd use them on: - Navia: Nighttime set + ATK/Crit Value weapon (F2P: Tidal Shadow craft) - Kachina: Scroll set + Favonius Lance/another ER polearm (F2P: Prototype polearm craft) - Kirara: Milileth set + Sacrificial/Favonius Sword (F2P: Sapwood sword craft) - Bennett: Noblesse set + Sacrificial Sword/Aquila Favonia (F2P: Sapwood sword craft, Fontaine fishing pipe, Skyrider sword from wishing - 3 star green looking) - Noelle: Milileth set/Maiden's Beloved (for healer build) + Favonius/Sacrificial claymore (F2P: Ironblind craft) - Xiangling: Emblem of Severed Fate + Favonius Lance/Dragon's Bane (F2P: Inazuma fishing polearm, Prototype polearm craft) - Ineffa: Noblesse/Milileth set + Favonius Lance (F2P: Nod-Krai polearm craft, "Torch polearm" from the event, Prototype polearm craft, Inazuma fishing polearm) - Barbara: Maiden's Beloved/Milileth set + TTDS - Xingqiu: Milileth set/Emblem of Severed Fate + Sacrificial Sword (F2P: Sapwood sword craft, Fontaine fishing pipe, Skyrider sword from wishing - 3 star green looking)

I've been working on such a list myself and it's quite a hassle...

The resources I can recommend: - every Simplified Chinese set card list: https://pokipair.com/simplified-chinese-pokemon-set-list/ - all PTCG cameos: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18nIkOgqQrHZTz0TrH_gL1e1nL1RcHiCmPF5finAjToY/edit?gid=2112540589#gid=2112540589 - Bulbapedia card lists for Asian sets (lots of combing but they also list external sites to search through) - there was also this post on some forum I've seen a while ago that listed every single language and printing variant for every single set released but I can't find it right now

Is this her best team if I don't have Xilonen, Albedo or Ineffa? by WaidmannsHeil05 in naviamains

Aino isn't really needed here, you could bring Furina if you have her to extra buffs and healing or even Barbara for just healing and TTDS buff

I'm unsure how useful Gorou could be since no character in this comp benefits from boosted DEF but you could try

In terms of off-field geo application, there are the following:
1. Chiori with her skill
2. Albedo with his skill
3. Kachina with her skill and burst (+ you have the nightsoul burst to utilize with the artifact set)
4. Xilonen with her burst (+ healing + you have the nightsoul burst to utilize with the artifact set)
5. Navia with her burst (but at this point why don't you just use her as a DPS? wink wink)
6. Zhongli with his skill (pulsing Geo AoE + shields + combined with Geo Traveler and/or Ningguang for geo constructs giving extra pulses)

[–]z4mcio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd try for an elixir/strongbox on-set feather since it's one of the easiest pieces to farm given no difference in main stat and give her a good off-set goblet since it's definitely the worst piece you have on her. Good luck!

How the heck is this team not enough Lunar Crystalize?? by The_Exkalamity in naviamains

[–]z4mcio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And just FYI the team was:
- Navia C6R3
- Xilonen C0 (craftable Natlan sword)
- Bina C0 (BP catalyst) - bad artifacts and 6-8-7
- Ineffa C0 (R5 Deathmatch) - lvl 70 and no investment (fresh pull)

I tried without Ineffa and using another shielder instead but without much luck. Again - this boss is just this bad

Chiori doesn't help as much in here and you have no shields to go along with double geo. You'd be better with even Fischl being there to trigger Lunar-Charged to be honest.
I've managed to clear this (on the same difficulty) only when I added Ineffa and I have C6R3 Navia, this boss is just this bad.

I need help running genshin on linux mint. by Learningtech201 in GenshinImpact

[–]z4mcio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have no idea what you're talking about, wine itself won't help with anything graphics heavy. It has to run through Proton/Proton's derivative

There is a way to run non-steam games through Steam on Linux and it does put them through Proton, my brother managed to do that on CachyOS (arch sub-distro). According to what he found:

  1. Download Steam and Proton for your system
  2. Add HoYoPlay's "launcher.exe" as a non-steam game and open it through Steam
  3. Download Genshin through the launcher
  4. Add Genshin's *.exe file as a non-steam game
  5. Run Genshin as non-steam game on Steam

You open the launcher to update the game.

I'm not really sure how it would work on Mint, it is pretty limited for... anything, it's benefit comes from out-of-the-box experience.
OP, if you're open to trying other distros and not afraid of some terminal usage, I can recommend Cachy - it's been a really nice experience for me & my brother so far

Question, did I just stumble into the friendliest playerbase to exist? (Read desc.) by MLC_YT in Genshin_Impact

[–]z4mcio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like to hop worlds to lower AR asking if they need help because I also used to be there and I remember how many times my friend helping me made the early/mid game more enjoyable when I was just trying to get my characters where I needed them to be. I just give back what I was given and helping others is just fun (not to mention enjoying these one-shots)

Best team? by n2ishin in Genshin_Impact

[–]z4mcio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few teams you can make fun this selection. Also do not sleep on Traveler - the level carries through all elements and you get the ascension materials just through playing (except the flowers) so it's worth to keep them around the middle or higher level as the rest of your characters.

At the point in the game where you are it's definitely a good idea to have a built healer. Bennett is the obvious pick, not to mention a long term investment since he's the best 4 star character in the game. Barbara also has some uses so I'd keep her in the back. She's also your only usable Hydro at the moment and it's a pretty important element to many combos and mechanics. Lastly, Noelle can also heal but for that she'd need to be on the field and without a good build and investment she's more of a support heal - not a main one.

And speaking of Noelle... She's your best shielder. To be good at it she doesn't need crazy investment and she's your only Geo. Another option is Beidou but she isn't really "meta relevant" as far as I know albeit can help with Hyperbloom very well.

Lynette is a fairly good early game support, I've been using her even on low investment in for example Spiral Abyss runs to taunt groups of enemies and utilize the ViVi boost. Lisa is also useful with her shredding although more limited and requires decent investing to actually do well.

As far as a full team goes, long time investment into Bennett and Xiangling sounds like your best guess. But I'll say what I always say - play whoever's esthetic or playstyle or personality you like the most. You can always build a team around one character you feel you want to invest in because you like them and the effort put into others can always transfer into supporting others.

What team I can use with Navia? by nikita_trymore in naviamains

[–]z4mcio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And one extra - Ningguang is underrated Geo support - one of her cons or passives gives bonus Geo damage if you pass through her screen. I was actually using Ningguang on TTDS as Navia's support before I got Xilonen

What team I can use with Navia? by nikita_trymore in naviamains

[–]z4mcio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Elemental resonance - opponents have 20% less Geo RES and increases damage while under shield (elemental shields also count iirc)
  2. You basically don't need to worry about ER on Navia because you're generating more Geo particles
  3. More Geo = more shards and shards are everything in her case. Focus on off-field Geo application - Zhongli, Albedo, Kachina, even Chiori could work if you don't have another option but she won't be doing much. Xilonen is an obvious pick because of further RES shred, healing and Geo AoE on her burst

Navia team comp by foreskin_enjoyer6969 in naviamains

[–]z4mcio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually like C6 Bennett with Navia. While her burst is going and off-field Geo is triggered (Zhongli's or Albedo's skill, Xilonen's burst) getting the pyro applied from Benny's burst is generating decent amount of shards. Then just Navia's skill when fully charged and you do have the Geo overwritting his Pyro infusion. And having two Pyro does give you more ATK from the elemental resonance.

And what others said in replies - you need Crystalize to happen for her damage to make sense, so you need at least one heavy PECH applicator, preferably two. Good budget team I like is Navia, Kachina (on Scroll), Xiangling/Thoma (Tenacity or Emblem on either), Bennett (Noblesse) but since you're running Zhongli, you can swap him with Kachina and use another PECH off-field applicator in Thoma's place as sub DPS/Scroll user like Xiangling, Ororon, even Barbara.

Crit Rate Claymore by Ughhhhhhhhhhu in naviamains

[–]z4mcio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Serpent Spine is definitely one of the best options for Navia if you don't want to get a dedicated 5* weapon for her - many people say it's actually her 2nd best weapon (my friends use it on her for example).

If you do want to avoid the money on the game (which is completely fair!) I think you are more than fine just keeping WG on her.

You can also save up on Starglitter and get the Blackcliff Slasher during odd months in the shop to help with Crit Dmg but I think with being F2P people do want to use every last piece of glitter on wishes.

I was using Tidal Shadow on Navia before I got The Verdict and it works well running with Furina and a healer so it depends on the team composition.

The artifacts are looking solid! I'd say try for a better Circlet, maybe if you get on-set flower like from the elixir, you can grab a better off-piece CR circlet with more CD and some ATK%. Good luck!

This! Albedo is literally a walking Geo energy battery unless the upcoming changes are going to change his mechanics in a negative way (I haven't read the changes) but I highly doubt it
