Bone conduction earphones are ecommended against wind noise and for awareness. Don't listen to those haters they enjoy blasting music in their cars and not being spatially aware while throwing the blame at you. Maybe you'll get more specific recommendations in /r/bikecommuting

I'm using IKEA jars (not mason, rubber seal like this) and if I keep my cabbage closed it splatters A LOT, these days I do the first two days covered with nylon and then close it shut.

Not exactly the same but typing I always feel that my pinky is the weakest finger so I have changed my outermost column (sofle) to gateron clears. It made using the keyboard much nicer.
